Title: Eragon at the Museum

I'm really looking forward to 2 movies coming out. If you're dense or don't have a tv, it's Eragon on the 15th and Night at the Museum on the 20th. I'm hyped, but I don't think I'll get to finish the last 550 pages of the eragon book before I see the movie. Hope this wont destroy the world for me. As for Night, it just looks real funny and IMAXish. I'm trying to get my mother to come with me because there are romans in it, but she's being a froop...... I really don't wanna pay for an imax ticket.and be aloone.

I'll be seeing "Night at the Museum" sometime during my visit to my parents in the beginning of Jan. We're gonna IMAX it, as far as I know. Not sure if I'm gonna see Eragon. I love Jeremy Irons, but I remember the disappointment of Dungeons & Dragons the movie.

The guy who wrote dnd didnt' write eragon... Did someone write dnd? Anyway, Eragon is part of a book series, so that means that the plot was already written out by a spiffy author years beforehand. =]

So was the D&D movie. It was based on a book that had been writen like 10 years prior. They left out most of the stuff... like the Plot!

^^ Alot of people thought Eragon was disappointing. I thought it was a good B-rated Scifi movie you'd see on saturdays. It's not like you can take a book and make it into a movie and keep it with every little action being the same. Less you're a billionaire and can make 5 hour movies like lotr.
Night at the Museum is a really good film =] I wanted to see it on the imax, I saw it on the imax, I enjoyed it on the imax ^^ definately a need to see.

Saw Night at the Museum yesterday (then proceded to get trashed with my brother and sister). Yea, it was really pretty good. I had heard mixed reviews about it, but really, it was a clever movie, and thankfully not completely cookie cutter, which seems to be the main genre of movies lately. Still didn't see Eragon.. Still have no desire to.

Eragon was poorly made. The only thing that saves it is how cute Saphira is in the beginning. However other than that they somehow could not make dwarves look like dwarfs nor elves look like elves. I was sorely disappointed. How hard does it take to hire midgets and stick pointier ears on people?

Night at the Museum was a good film, it's just that I wish I didn't pay for it. It was one of those movies that I'd rather wait to see it on TV.
As for the dragon film, I have no plans to see it. Looks kinda dumb to me.

I know. Old post. XD
Gotta agree (somewhat) with Eiji on Eragon. Why oh why didn't they get stuff like the Elves right? It was an enjoyable enough film, for me, but I'm kinda easy to please in some regards. XD
However, it creates problems if they make it a series of films. If I didn't know that some of the characters were supposed to be Elves, for example (not the only thing to get wrong), I'd not have known at first glance. Supposedly, one explanation I heard was they didn't want to make the Elves look like other Elves. Riiiiight.
Also Arya? Way nicer seeming and receptive to Eragon than she seemed in the books so far.
Can't say much more without spoiling things though.
