How To Play

This is played like any other RP is played on in AR. There are seperate threads that represent settings, and you just go up and post in them. You can create your own new setting threads when appropriate. Nothing else to it.

------------------

Somewhere buried within all the huge wall of text that is the General Rules post, will give some clues to the backstory. This is the year 3037. North America has been reduced to a mere production facility, ruled by a string of Elite corporations who have completely eliminated the boundaries on trade. North America is now ranked on one of the world's most poorest countries, and is now a base where Capitalist Interests rule over the population via a faux-government to exploit the labor.

The "Freedom" in the United Peoples' Freedom Party means Corporate Freedom.

Credz

First off, let us discuss the concept of Credz . What are Credz? Credz are the new form of currency that exists within the Global Market for the year 3037. Credz have been used as a currency within the Global market for the past 600 years, eliminating all the needs for all the other separate currencies like the dollar, euro, and yen. The symbol abbreviation for Credz is cz

To make things easier, simply think of 1cz = $1. I know it'd be more realistic to incorporate an inflation system, but that'd take too much number crunching on everyones part. Just think of items having the same Credz value of today's dollar value, and all will be easy.

Now, how do you pay with Credz?

Credz do not have physical items associated with them. They are specially programmed computerized chunks of special information that get stored to two mediums. The first medium is stored within a Credz Bank Account Server (CBAS). Users can set up and connect to their Credz Bank Account Server using their Cyberbrain. Once they connect to their individualized CBAS, they can simply transfer any amount of Credz they want to another individual's CBAS. This makes buying things very easy, very fast, and very secure for all parties involved.

For users without Cyberbrains, or for those who are not legally allowed to have a CBAS, Credz Pilots are used. A Credz Pilot is a small little computer-like device that fits right in the palm of your hand. The device has two special ports that can connect to any normal Bank Terminal, or to another Credz Pilot, or to a Cyberbrain to accept a Credz amount via a CBAS connection. Credz Pilots are very durable, and come equipped with the best sort of security systems available, making them extremely hard to hack.

So lets see how Delphoria is structured!

Delphoria is a very tiered city. Within the middle of the Layer 1 District, lies the base of the UPFP Headquarters. As the city stretches out, the districts become poorer and poorer. Ending at what is called the "No Stop" or "Stray" territory. The below information will provide you with an idea of how the city is structured, and what sort of information to include should you create a new setting post.

Layer 1: UPFP Base. - The center of the city acts as a luxurious base for the politicians and upper class corporate CEOs that rule Delphoria. Security here is the tightest, with all roads being patrolled by heavily armed Cyborg police officers who ensure that no troublesome individuals even think about entering into the district. Home towards the finest restaurants, the best living quarters, and the greatest amount of luxury anywhere, Layer 1 is the essential home for all those affiliated with the UPFP, and anyone else who happens to be upper class with tons of Credz to spare.

Layer 2: FPEA Base – Outside of the boundaries of Layer 1 lies a string of FPE bases all surrounding the entry ways to Layer 1. Police training facilities and stations lie here, which all add to the protective barrier to Layer 1.

Layer 3: The Commons District -- Exactly what the name implies. Layer 3 is the district for the middle class common folk of Delphoria. Here, giant consumer centers and a few mediocre production plants string around this giant layer of the city. Low-to-average quality apartments, schools, bars, and work places all find themselves concentrated here. The people who belong in this layer usually live drab, boring lives of repetitive production model work. The trade-off is that they live safe repetitive boring lives.

Layer 4: Syndicate District – Where Delphoria starts to degrade in quality, comes forth the base for the well-known Aon Syndicate. You'll know your in Layer 4 once you step forward to see all the flashing neon lights and the scantily-clad women patrolling up and down the street corners without rest. Gambling, drugs, prostitution. You'll find all of the immoral pleasures in life within this district. The FPE predicts that there are approximately 18 Syndicate Clans that rule over this sprawling district.

Layer 5: Stray District – Also referred to as the “No Stop Zone.”. A large part of Delphoria, making up the city's last layer. There is nearly no law enforcement within these zones, and there is no power that even bothers with trying to govern what goes on in these slums. “Strays” rule this area, who are defined as criminals who do not belong to the Aon Syndicate. Stray Criminals are very violent, ruthless, and hold no protocol amongst one another. While the Syndicate Clans all hold a mutual respect and peace towards one another, the Stray Packs hold none of ot. Every citizen of Delphoria suggests that if one should ever have to drive through this area, they should do so as quickly as they can. It is called the “No Stop Zone” for a good reason – any car that stops at a red light within this district is very likely to get assaulted, and in the worst possible way.

Rumor has it that deep within the decrepit slums of Layer 5 are underground Techlighten communes that actively try to recruit new members into the faith. Such communes have been unconfirmed by the FPEA, and any citizen who happens to discover one should report to the location to the local authorities immediately.

Production Planes – Once an individual gets out of Layer 5, they'll find themselves out of the city and going into what is called the “Production Planes”. This is a giant, sprawling area of metal machines that all work to produce the power that the city of Delphoria needs to operate. The entire area is a sea of bronze, gray, and black metals all washing together to gather solar, geo-thermal, and wind energy. It spans for miles upon miles upon miles, farther than any eye can see. No humans ever live in this area, and this is often the place that the Syndicate drives out towards to “dispose” of any fools that dared trifled with them.

Rumor has it that very far away in the middle of a few failing mechanical production areas are entry ways towards Naturalist havens. It seems too ironic that underneath such a mechanized field would lay the very sanctuary of Nature's last surviving items. Rumor also persists that a Techlighten temple also resides far, far away from the city of Delphoria, deep within an abandon area of the planes. If any Citizen should discover a Naturalist Sanctuary or a Techlighten temple, the FPEA advises them to report the location to the local authorities immediately.
