I figured that this movie was going to be GORE GORE GORE and guess what, MORE GORE!!

Well, I was right.


However, this isnt a bad thing in this movie's case. Two guys are unknowingly led into a business of trading death for cash. And, what they dont realize is that the women they slept with were chosen to lure in new victims.

And Americans = 25,000 cash. Kill an American, get rich quick.


Honestly, despite the studies of anatomy in the movie (( one killer going so far as to cut one American's tendons of his heels...... this prevents a person from walking )) and gruesome attention to detail.... I actually really enjoyed cringing at this movie. I enjoyed it!

This was a pretty bad ass movie. I hadn't gotten around to watching it for some reason, and I saw it just a few nights ago when me and the droogs were having a marijuana-and-pirated-DVDs-movie-night. It did freak me the ****** out during some parts (OH SHIT THAT'S TOTALLY NOT GOING IN THE EYE IS IT?! OH******************), I loved it because it could definitely fit into the Ultra-violent genre of cinematography.

Another cool thing that made me squee? My friend pointed out that Takashi Miike has a lil cameo. I forgot where exactly though, but I do remember seeing him in all his sun-glasses glory. Miike's the master of the underground violent J-Cinema: Ichi The Killer is a MUST view for any surrealist horror fan. Audition is probably his best work, though....
(personal favorite will always be Yakuza Demon.)

I finaly saw this movie about a week ago. I always avoided it because my brother said it was crap. I should of realized that I would like it since my brother and I don't always see eye to eye on things. I loved this movie, it was really really gory but I thought it had an interesting story as well. Though it was one of those movies where I ended up totally calling how things ended up. :P But for some reason I didn't get the Japanese chick right until she actually did it. /shrug :P

My bro tells me I should see this movie, but I've been afraid to as some gore and certain horror movies really give me nightmares. How realistic is the gore in this one? And will it have a good change of giving me those said nightmares?

Well maybe, it is fair share of gore. Well it could have been worse. /shrug I have a high resilience to gore. I thought it was an acceptable amount of gore, though any more and it would have been a crappy movie to me. SO it might give you nightmares.
