Holy hell, I looked at when I joined and that was in February of 2004..... and here it is now 2007 and I post again.
Anyway, hello! I'm not really new to the forum but to many, many, MANY of you, I may be. You can just call me 'Red' and I kind of resemble the character that "Red Lovely" is, I just dont have the long red coat, and my hair got cut.
A'YWHO! I'm currently attending Delta College to attain an @$$ociate's in a degree THEY call "Graphic Design" but I say "Visual Communications" because I hate limits. They're not nice. In the meantime, when I'm not at school or wasting time on the Internet at home, I'm working part-time at Hot Topic here at the local mall in town. Small store, but the people are great.
I draw, I go-go dance on occassion (( hey, getting money and not stripping! What a combo! Though that doesnt make me judgmental of those who choose the other occupation )), I love dancing period! Clubbing, the nightlife, it's quite exciting if you know where to go and know some of the people.
I'm also a nutcase for music and art. Without them, I would be 6 feet under. My tastes in music vary greatly, from Classic Rock like Kansas and Damn Yankees, to Powernoise Electronica like Terrorfakt. Other bands included there in between are Celine Dion, Velvet Acid Christ, Project Pitchfork, In Strict Confidence, Don Henley, Deadstar Assembly, VNV Nation, Laeather Strip, Mushroomhead, Korn, Evanescence and too many more to list here. ;P
As for the art aspect, I draw my hands sore, and paint when the weather is warm (( I work with Oils mainly, and oil fumes + open window + winter = cold painter and lack of progress )). I also draw and design tattoos when the urge and inspiration hits me. Lately, it's been word art and...... character concepts. I've fallen in love with my character FangHead.... I <3 him so!
At any rate, methinks that's it. The Sandman wont leave me alone and I'm barely awake as I write this. Sleep time for me soon!!
