Title: Itoshi Kimie

The first drama I ever saw that I knew the title of (and quite by accident). I've only seen episode one, so don't worry about spoilers.

Each ep ranges about an hour long, so if you get into it be aware of that.

Even if it's a long drama, it's filled with some extremely deep thought. A quick description of the plot is that a well-known friend to a group of students (all are main characters) died suddenly and while off on vacation. He was a good person, did nice things, was cute, and everyone liked him in one way or another. However he was only that much of a good person when compaired to his bro, who is just the opposite. How could such a nice family filled with responsible and smart people have one sibling that was irrisponsible, a pervert, and a jerk?

Most of the story (at least in the first ep) revolves around how the main characters and the brother deal with the one guy's death. How they get on with life, how the friends get to know more about the brother. Very very deep. The plot also has connections to a specific hospital (which is a huge part and tie to the story in extremely unexpected ways).

Overall I sat through it all and enjoyed it. Itoshi Kimie didn't blow me away, but it wasn't bad. It really got me pondering many things about life and how I should be living it and overall I think that's the drama's strongpoint. Gives you insight on your own life and makes you reflect. And the entire episode was planned very well. At the end of the ep, I was urged to see the next but managed to hold back til I finish some of my other animes ^^`

So even if you aren't into everyday stories or real life situations, it's a good drama to sit through if you want to do personal reflections or bathe your brain in deep thought. Also has medical stuff and perverted pictures for the rest of you =P
