Title: Blockbuster
KrazyKelli - January 22, 2007 10:26 PM (GMT)
I got a blockbuster acct at blockbuster.com. First 2 weeks are free, then I'll pay 6 bucks a month for 5 rentals + 1 free game/movie rental at the store. Ontop of that, if I return everything they mail me to my local blockbuster, I get a free rentle at the store as well. So if you do your math, that's unlimited movies for the first 2 weeks, then 10 movie and 1 game rentle for every month.
I already have a shitload of stuff on my queue list on the website, but what anime/cartoons should I look into? What quicky games should I play/try out? (I have a PS2 and Wii.)
And don't worry if I might already own it, there are plenty of animes I haven't and a load of oldschool anime movies I've yet to see. I'm currently looking into scifi and futuristic stuff.

Scifi & Futuristic? Okay..
Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040
Technolyze
Battle Angel
Cowboy Bebop
Appleseed
Trigun
That's all I can think of right now..

Appleseed was coincidentially the first thing I rented (before posting this) and being that I never saw it before, I really liked it. =] gunna keep it longer than my other rentals.
I put the bebop movie on my list, I already own trigun and battleangel, and I'm still considering the other two. Technolyze is supposed to be way violent, right?

Texholynze is extremely violent. I absolutely loved it! That was one of the greatest animes I've seen in a real long time, came straight from the makers of Serial Experiments Lain. Speaking of which, Serial Experiments Lain is another one you definitely need to give a rental.
Keep in mind both Lain and Texholynze are....very, very, VERY surreal. They're not straight-forward anime series....alot of symbolism, and post-modernism exists within them. Texholynze is....somewhat more linear, but Lain is really all over the place when they come to narration. Both animes are on my top 10 though, HIGHLY recommended. They're just great Cyberpunk.

Well, I liked Lain, so I'll probably like Texholynze.
Currently I have 50 some things on my queue.. From cartoon movies to real bad movies to scifi junk, to adventure movies... And I have Wolf's Rain on there as my one series so far. This isn't including all the anime films as well =]

B movies... Oh so fun to watch! Although, I kind of think it's more fun to watch with friends, but unfortunately, my husband refuses to watch B horror movies... T_T
I know a site dedicated to B movies if you want to try to find some real bad ones..
