Title: The Nine-tailed Fox - A Supplementary Tale

Watching this I was beginning to wonder why they make the dramas so damned long. Seriously, an hour and five minutes and I had to stop watching it 55 minutes in because I kept falling asleep accidentally. It just drags. Now I may, MAY be able to watch this if I saw it in parts, but I don't see why they couldn't release it 30 minutes at a time.

Lemmi give you the jist of it.

Demon people (people with red eye) from a fox clan need to eat people livers. Some do it right in the whole cerimonial showbiz, others suck and attack lowlives on the street. The latter need to be stopped.

Noone turns into a fox.

Through at least the first 20 to 30 minutes there's ALOT of action and fighting. Good fighting. They really spent their money in the right places when it came to fighting. Neat camera effects and awesome stunts.

After that? Well, it dove into a slow, monotonus, basic plot that they just dragged on for the remainder of the show. This includes slow-paced piano and violin music and subtle drama. They also shove a buncha characters you could give an ape's crap about in your face with no real explination of what they're doing there.

What this amounts to: I was mildly entertained by it through the first twenty some minutes. After the action ends it dies. I gradually couldn't keep awake in my chair long enough to find out what happens during most of this time; except for people standing around talking about how they're demon fox people and how they have to eat livers.

Mmm...livers.

I'd actually be tempted to watch it. n_n;;;; Just to see.

I'm used to slow paced shows anyway, as long as there's something worth watching. Maybe I'm just easy to please (sometimes). That and I can be patient when I feel like it.

I'm fairly hard to please, this movie sounds horrible. Is this the one with the blue blooded demons?

It's not a movie, it's ep 1 of a live-action drama series ^^` unfortunately.

I think they had regular blood, not blue. But like I said: I've only seen some of ep 1.

The fighting in the beginning is very remeniscent of Matrix... Except.. Not as good.

Really bad Matrix fighting,
Lame plot
Bad Story.

Crappy characters.

Sounds like Neko Homeworld to me :)

I didn't say the plot was lame, the story was bad, nor that it had really bad matrix fighting. Don't misunderstand, it still put me to sleep; but I clearly said that they put their money into the fighting and it just wasnt' as good as the matrix. It's still good and fun to watch. The plot was ok and I'm sure with future eps it gets better, but I felt they overused 'liver eating' a bit too much. The story was alright, but then they started drolling with dialogues it took a nosedive and couldn't hold my interest.
