Anyone Gundam fans around here? I mean, real gundam fans, no Gundam Wing or Gundam SEED. I'm talkin' hardcore GM on Zaku action. :D

0083 was my personal favorite. Mostly because of it's 80's-tastic theme song, and because it's just great in general. I'm also a fan of that little Romeo / Juliet side story they did for 08th MS Team, but that sorta ended too abruptly with an all too ambiguous ending.

Wing isn't too bad. Could've been better, but it wasn't too bad.

SEED can just go bugger off, though.

Oh, and yeah. G-Gundam needs to die a horrible death in fire.

0083 was great, the animation was fantastic for the time it was made, the characters bugged me a little, but the mechanics are what I like. 08th MS team was great for showing what life on earth was like during the One Year War, and really gave gundam that 'war' feel it needed.

Wing... Since it was my first gundam series, I cant say much. I did like it, but then it polluted gundam for Americans, most people see gundam and immediately think: "Oh Gundam Wing!?" but there is so much more...

I have to agree completely with seed, and the new Double 0 series is looking like a SEED clone... it's sad that even Gundam is loosing it's creativity...

But, G Gundam? How can you not like G Gundam? It's hilarious! There is so much satire and parody, it was never meant to be serious.

Oh, and have you seen the new Gundam designed by Katoki Hajime? he wrote a novel that takes place between Char's Counter Attack and Formula 91, called Gundam Unicorn, gay name, AWESOME gundam, I personally believe it's his way of saying: "You puny strike gundam and it's phase shift have nothing on anything I create". XD

I haven't really kept my ears on the Gundam radar. I've sorta....taken a break from Anime. Stopped watching Bleach and was disappointed by Death Note....mostly due to my own fault. Not to say that they are necessarily terrible shows (even though I will curse their existence and insult them around fan boys just for the lulz). My expectations for entertainment are way, way, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to high. I want something that'll completely blow me away and touch my emotions.

I'll youtube and anib this. And if theres a good torrent of it, I might give it a whirl. If it takes place during that time arc of gundam universe....it could be good. Looooooveddd Chars Counter Attack.

I know what you mean, Ranc. Anime these days has been watered down. I was entertained by DeathNote up to a point then dropped it in disappointment. I'm also waiting for the next anime to blow me away.

Haven't yet seen much of gundam. Isn't that the anime subliminally about the atom bomb? =P
