Well, because Quai is such a fan, I went out and picked up a used version of Ratchet and Clack: Going Commando. Almost got Deadlocked, didn't know which order they ran in and GC looked interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed it, nice adventure game, much like Spyro or Sly Cooper but more about shooting stuff.

Anyways, since I got a PS3, it led me to get the new R&C for it and so this is my review:

Well, anyone familiar with the R&C games will feel right at home with this one. It doesn't have the grandiose feel of the third one, which is fine as the story is more personal and deals with Ratchet. Many of the same 'items' are brought back, like grav ramps and teleporters. And, as always, there's lots and lots of guns to try out, although it doesn't look like you can import any from older games, although the Ryno does come back.

I can't see anyone who enjoyed the previous R&C games being disappointed with this one, as it's basically, R&C taken to the next graphical level. There's space fights, a battle arena, goofy-looking enemies that blow up nicely; the story is fun, the characters are memorable, the puzzles are fun, the planets look beautiful. There's really not much that I can be critical about.

Oh, and there's a disco ball. ^_^
