Title: FF13 no longer a PS3 exclusive

Yup, I don't have the link on me, but Microsoft announced that FF13 is also coming out on the Xbox360. This also means it'll come out for the PC as well. This means if I wanted to, I could own this game in the future... Yay.

But let's put all that news aside for now and look at the PS3 fanbase. Why are they so angry? I'm serious, a large chunk of PS3 owners act like they're going to burn Microsoft headquarters to the ground in a fit of angsty nerd rage. They're so upset that a multi-disk version will be released on a system they don't own, and keep drilling on and on about how it wont be as superior as their PS3. They're so miffed that other people are getting the game.

... Why?

I don't get it.

The PS3 owners are still getting the game. If it's the best version of the game, more power to them... So why are they raging and pissed? Because it's no longer a PS3 exclusive? Who cares? This means the maker of the game will get more money, which will fund future projects.

But the screaming whiney, "****** MICROSHIT! ****** THEM! THEY ARE ALSO GETTING THE GAME!" thing is way beyond my comprehension here. Can someone explain it to me?

Some people are just retarded. A lot of them are crying that S-E is backstabbing Sony but these people are also forgetting that FF also started on Nintendo. I honestly don't care that it's on 360. the more people enjoying the better.

I have no idea what people's problems is with that one. Maybe you can just go with the fact that the majority of the people on the internet are retarded. (I call it the Penny Arcade fanbase concept)

I think titles should be released on as many platforms as possible and I'm still pissed that SquareEnix has signed with Nintendo and still doesn't release new FF titles on their systems. At least then I could consider playing them. Hmm, I suppose I have an 360 now so I guess I can consider playing it, can't I? Not that I mind that much. Looking back I don't think I missed much with FF 5-10 or however many were missed being released for Nintendo. 5-100 maybe? How many have they made now? (sorry had to say it)
