Title: The Streets of Edokyo
KrazyKelli - November 25, 2003 04:34 AM (GMT)
What goes between the buildings... Ya know, The Streets... People walk here...
KrazyKelli - November 26, 2003 06:40 AM (GMT)
Amethyst slowly paces from her previous vacation at the field... Her hand and arm still remained in a heavy dose of bandaging - mainly to keep herself from gripping Shin'i and killing everyone with it... It was clear she was still fighting the urges, specially since she was now in public - who announced her presence like those npc bastards always seem to do, and run away soon afterwards...However, the woman clad in green managed...
Down the street she walked... Keeping unusually silent with exception of a few curses and a momental mumble about sake...
Kakarrot-Sama - November 26, 2003 07:40 AM (GMT)
*Shi and Akuma ride through the street on their horses and see Ame*
Shi: Hey Akuma? Is that the girl Aki was talking about? The girl that my brother adopted?
Akuma: *he looks at Ame closer and then turned to Shi and nods*
Shi: I thought so
KrazyKelli - November 26, 2003 07:47 AM (GMT)
The woman slowed to a stop, hearing the clatter of horse hooves... Keeping in mind that not many people around edokyo frequented on horses, more or less mules or any other kind of hooved creature, the woman turned around to glance waywardly at the two riding in the general vacinity...
Didn't know the filthy men, nor did she choose to cade.. long as they didn't try anything...
Unconsciously, the woman's left hand strayed to hilt of sword.. but the bandaging touching it reminded her that she shouldn't try anything or she might loose it - that nasty carnageful voice in her mind telling her in detail how to kill the two and their horses..
Slowly dropping hand, she turned and proceeded to walk off..
Kakarrot-Sama - November 26, 2003 07:55 AM (GMT)
*Shi looked at the girl when she looked at them but she turn around and kept walking*
*whispering to Akuma*
Shi: That girl is creepy man....not touchin or even talking to her with a 100 yrd pole
*They both ride passed her and head to the Outskirts*

"What? Nono!" Seeing her hand go to her sword, Uma finally noticed the blood there, fresh blood. Cursing himself silently, Saru, in the confusion, mistook the comotion to be the Yakuza's doing, when, with Ame here, it obviously wasn't. "No, I thought the Yakuza were here, I'm looking for more to skin." When talking, Uma tried to do it slowly in attempt to add a calming tone.
Backyard - November 27, 2003 09:29 PM (GMT)
In the streets, trying to gain news, Uma was walking around. Since he'd bugged the Yakuza last time, they haven't been around much, and uma was interested in what was up. In the back of his head a plan was cooking up, but he wanted to atleast consult Okesa first.
KrazyKelli - November 27, 2003 09:36 PM (GMT)
Ame continued walking around aimlessly... She had confronted two mutual assholes that attempted to corner her.... But please, Amethyst was not one to let them even concieve of thinking it... In a brutal slaughter, the woman made mince of those npc bastards as if they were meat on a rack.
The bloody onslaught forced the women to become slightly berserk, but after she was sure they weren't moving - what with body pieces laying around and blood everywhere - Ame took a few slow steps backwards. Glanced at bloody sword, the bandage she used to keep herself from gripping it was put to it's test and, in the end, hurt her hand more than stopped it... Cursed off...
This is where Ame slowly sheathed her bloody sword - without cleaning it off - and proceed to run................ Into Uma...
Backyard - November 27, 2003 09:43 PM (GMT)
A rubble over the usual rubble of the streets alerted Uma into wandering over to whatever was going on. Some comotion was happening which seemed to have to do with how the populace usually freaks when some people are being killed. Walking against the crowd, unexpectantly Ame ran into him. Instinctively, Uma caught her around the waist to keep her from falling down and getting hurt, though he thought he axidently walked into a normal citizen of Edo.
KrazyKelli - November 27, 2003 09:50 PM (GMT)
Sadly enough, for poor Uma, Ame wasn't any normal citizen or npc... "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING, YOU ******!" she moved to uppercut him with her good unbandaged right hand...
Her face was completely red at having someone wrap their hands around her waist... And the scars there hurt a bit as well... So nothing was going good in that area... Mind you, Ame usually doesn't have people catch/hug her like that.. But she wasn't going to let it happen again..
Backyard - November 27, 2003 09:57 PM (GMT)
A sudden, and loud, "oof!" came out of Saru as the unexpected blow went into his jaw from under him somewhere. Though Umasaru was no npc, either, he exactly knew his folly once several steps back showed that it was Amethyst that ran into him. But since full understanding still didn't dawn on him, he looked around once, still looking dazed. "Shit, are the Yakuza around here?"
KrazyKelli - November 27, 2003 10:00 PM (GMT)
"Yakuza!?" Ame first glowered at Saru then around the around, placing bandaged hand to sword hilt - but being reminded that her hand hurt like all ****** and it was still bandaged... Winced, cursed...
Glanced around more... before snapping her gaze back to Uma.. remembering who he is - even though the voices at the back of her mind were telling her to uppercut him again, cept with the sword unsheathed... Of course, she didn't.. "Uma.. You're with the Yakuza!?"
Alright, if Ame wasn't pissed enough, now she was pissed more..
Joji - November 27, 2003 10:10 PM (GMT)
*the echo of a familiar estranged voice reached her ears as she lay slumped against the alleyway wall. Sighing slightly she wondered whether or not she wished to see the woman again* Damn you Ame....Damn you to..heaven! *laughing to herself she shook her head and stood up slowly, the empty sake bottle clanking to the ground. Dusting herself off she stretched slightly and jumped onto the nearby roof, where she sat scanning and waiting for a glimpse of that oh so familiar green*
KrazyKelli - November 27, 2003 10:14 PM (GMT)
Not quite understanding what was going on, but was trying damn well to in her dilated blood shot eyes, Amethyst removed left hand from sword hilt, pivoted on foot, ripped out her right arm, and pointed directly towards Saru... Waveringly and pissed.. "Where you trying to take me back to them as Bait then? Or.. no." her snarl faded slightly in the confusion.. "You... still hate.. them...?"
Backyard - November 27, 2003 10:19 PM (GMT)
Saru crumpled up his face. "Of course I do. They're bloodthirsty backstabers." And as a side note, he noted. "...Who're after my friends." Glancing around the area again, he ended with looking back at Ame. "We should probably leave, if we wait here too long, the Yakuza might notice us standing around near a crime scene."
Joji - November 27, 2003 10:26 PM (GMT)
*eyeing the last few people who skittered away from the streets she smirked slightly and made her way across the roofs. Finally jumping down, she emerged from the darkened alleyways with a mischevious grin spreading across her lips* I dont know how I lose you in the firstplace considering all I have to do is either follow the blood or the running people Ame....*leaning against the wall she eyed the man as her brain slowly went into its recognition form*
KrazyKelli - November 27, 2003 10:32 PM (GMT)
"........ Good... Yakuza are evil.." She slowly lowered hand, then glowered around at Saru's mention that Yakuza might come while thestreets are empty.. that worried her slightly.. but then she considered that all she had to do was go berserk and kill everyone anyway... so finished wiht "Let those Yakuza bastards come... into my sword..."
Eyes swivvled slightly as a voice shot through her ears and send a shiver down her back.. Ame winced - though it was at the sound of Obsid's voice.. Sight locking onto her friend who wasn't standing too far....
First it was shock.. then relieve.. than a large sadness... Ame bit lip, tensed up - forgetting for hte moment that Uma was there, though give her a second and she'll remember - and spoke in a meek little voice.. "Obsid...."
Of course, until realizing Uma's still there.. lost all emotions and glared at him.. "so where are we (her and Obsid, but let's pretend you didn't know that) gunna go" she said to Uma..
Backyard - November 27, 2003 10:40 PM (GMT)
"Anywhere would do, I think. Unless you know of somewhere." Uma wasn't aware of Obsidian at first, while he kept his attention to Ame incase she didn't calm down. Though when Ame inadvertantly pointed her out, Uma made no indication that he noticed. But unsure of what to actually do, he still just stood there waiting to see what Ame'd do.
Joji - November 27, 2003 10:43 PM (GMT)
*crossing her arms she walked over to the obviously shaken Ame as she eyed her arm. Sighing quietly she wondered what the woman had done to get the new battle scar. Shaking her head she looked over at the woman nodded her head towards the teahouse* How about some sake, I know the teahouse has probably missed you some....
KrazyKelli - November 27, 2003 10:46 PM (GMT)
First Ame blinked at Obsid.. obvious that she just wanted to hug her.. but couldn't bring her self to it.. Why?
Secondly Ame glances at Uma.. That's why... But Sake and promise of a good time made her feel SO much better than the last few weeks that've gone by.. that she was gunna let her hatred of men slide a bit.. in. Ame fasion..
Taking Obsid'y hand, Ame went towards the teahous - which wasn't far away.. "Teahouse teahouse.. Sakesakesake.." before stopping momentarily to point at Saru.. "You follow too.. If the Yakuza bagged you they'd make you come after me..."
Backyard - November 27, 2003 10:51 PM (GMT)
Uma raised an eyebrow at first when they started walking off, but then when they got quite a ways, started following. "Cough. No Yakuza can stick me, or get me to do their will." But when entering the teahouse, Uma was just glad to be with some other people incase the Yakuza tried to make a move, but if they didn't soon, then it wasn't likely at all that they would.
Lewis Daggart - November 28, 2003 07:54 PM (GMT)
Okesa turned into an alley way and leaned against a wall. He sighed deeply and risked taking the hood off for a moment.
This robe can get damn hot.
After breathing a bit of fresh air, he quickly rehooded himself and started walking again. Okesa had started to make a name of himself sense returning to Edo dressed as a hooded old man. People couldnt place if he was insane or overly mystical or wise or all three.. and that suited him just fine as long as they didn't make the connection between the old man who was making a place for himself here and the fugitive bard whom everyone had taken a loathing too.
Okesa left the alley and started hobbling down one of the more open parts of Edo's streets.
Joji - November 29, 2003 09:50 PM (GMT)
*fingers placed to her aching temple she paused momentarily against the cool wall of the alleyway* The field.....*shaking her head she crossed her arms and stepped into the light of the open streets. Brushing the hair from her eyes she walked down the street slowly, concentrating on relaxtion*
Lewis Daggart - November 30, 2003 01:43 AM (GMT)
Okesa continued down the street when he noticed a familier figure.
There she is. I haven't been able to find her recently..
Okesa, still cloaked and oldman like, approached Obsidian.
Joji - November 30, 2003 01:46 AM (GMT)
*her mind wandering slightly as she eyed the old hooded figure that was soon to bump into her. Pursing her lips in thought she wondered if she really had indeed slept long enough to let everyone grow old around her* Watch out ...*she cautioned as she stepped to the side*
Lewis Daggart - November 30, 2003 01:53 AM (GMT)
"Young lady, you appear lost." he said in his oldman voice. he had never been so thankful for his years as a performer as he was now.
"Is there something I can aid you in?"
Joji - November 30, 2003 01:59 AM (GMT)
*casting a quizzical glance back towards the cloaked being, she took a steady look from head to toe and shook her head* The look in my eyes is misleading stranger...I will undoubtedly find what Im looking for in the end....*eyeing the streets she wondered if perhaps the town had gained a crazy geezer. With a smirk she shrugged it off and began to turn around*
Lewis Daggart - November 30, 2003 02:10 AM (GMT)
"You think I'm crazy.." he said horsely.
"It's no matter.. many do.. I'm not so certain myself.. There are sights in this world that man should not be prevy to.. You understand?"
After a moment he began chuckling goodnaturedly, as if at himself.
"Ah but forgive me.. My toung does run faster than my mind. If that be insanity, I am certainly a party to it. Tell me lady, what is your name?"
Joji - November 30, 2003 02:16 AM (GMT)
*giving up on ever making it further down the streets, she turned round on her heels and crossed her arms. A light flicker of a peeved smirk crossed her face* Indeed I think you crazy stranger...but dont let it get to you...I think badly of all...especially men...*the last words slipped her tongue with a slight ring of disdain. Brushing back the hair from her eyes she strained her eyes to look at the hooded face* ...Obsidian....
Lewis Daggart - November 30, 2003 02:24 AM (GMT)
"Obsidian.. Yes, tha'ts right." he said, muttering to himself.
"Well lass, it's fate that brough us here today. The spirits whisper your fortune to me.. and some things you might find of interest. Perhaps you know somewhere private where we may speak?"
Please don't hit the old man.. I can't let people see under my hood..
Joji - November 30, 2003 02:29 AM (GMT)
* had the stranger been anything but old looking she would have left him bleeding and went on about her ways, but being as he was an old man and would undoubtedly cripple should she knock him over she gave up and cast an awkward glance along the streets as if she were ashamed, before responding*...It seems as though you have heard of me before...no doubt this is all a trap...*casting her gaze down the streets she sighed and shrugged her shoulder* ...either way I dont really have much else to do...and its been long since Ive been told of my so called fortune...*turning her back to him she proceeded to walk towards the teahouse. waving her hand she yelled out* come stranger follow me...
Lewis Daggart - November 30, 2003 02:44 AM (GMT)
Okesa smiled.
I'm in one piece.. this must be my lucky day.
You DO realize that if she'd known it was you. you'd be bleeding all over the place, right?
Meh, details..
*Okesa entered teh teahouse*
Elsie - November 30, 2003 02:51 AM (GMT)
*walks along the streets of Edokyo, looking around at this new town....growing tired and thirsty from her travels, she ducks into a little teahouse*
Joji - November 30, 2003 04:35 AM (GMT)
*walking into the light of the streets again she shook her head and made her way down the street* What a waste of valuable time...I hope that damn woman isnt already in trouble...
Issue13 - November 30, 2003 09:51 PM (GMT)
*Sasha enters The Streets of Edokyo*
With a quick glance back at his shop, Sasha gives a quick chuckle, rests his fishing pole on his shoulder, and wheels about on his heel to find a spot to cast.
A sailing song is quickly on his lips and his voice is loud enough for everyone across the street to hear.
===================================
It's all for me grog, me jolly, jolly grog,
All gone for beer and tobacco.
Spent all me tin on the lassies drinking gin,
And across the western ocean I must wander.
Where are me boots, me noggy noggy boots,
They've all gone for beer and tobacco.
The leather's kicked about and the soles are all worn out,
And my toes are looking out for better weather.
Where is me shirt, me noggy noggy shirt,
It's all gone for beer and tobacco.
The collar's all worn out and the front is kicked about,
And my tails are looking out for better weather.
Where is me bed, me noggy noggy bed,
It's all gone for beer and tobacco.
I lent it to a whore and now it's all a-wore,
And the springs are looking out for better weather.
Where is me wench, me noggy noggy wench,
She's all gone for beer and tobacco.
Her lips are all worn out and her front is kicked about,
And her tail is looking out for better weather.
I feel sick in the head and I haven't been to bed,
Since first I came ashore with me plunder.
I see centipedes and snakes and I'm full of pains and aches,
And I think that I should push out over yonder.

KrazyKelli - December 1, 2003 07:43 AM (GMT)
It was seriously not one of Amethyst's better days... After finding Obsid was still alive - but Okesa was in danger - should've made her feel better about things and Edokyo.. But those unhappy berserk intentions still lingered in the back of her mind. Telling her to slaughter. To kill. Everything, even friends.
Thus while she walked, tightening bandage around left hand (to keep from grabbing hilt of her tachi and thereafter clicking off and killing everyone), Ame cursed off and tried her best to push out the voice in the back of her head explaining to her details to disembowel that woman over there or gut that guy by the building.
But if things couldn't get worse, a loud rubust Ruckous of a voice burst out like a rabid untuned trumpet. Amethyst winced, glancing over...
If the thoughts weren't bad enough, she really did want to kill this bastard. However, before loosing it completely she roared out.. "SHUT UP!"
Issue13 - December 1, 2003 07:53 AM (GMT)
Sasha stops in mid stride with one foot still in the air. He turn to look at whoever is making enough noise to be told to shut up. Upon seeing a rather angry woman burning holes into him wih her eyes, he wisens up.
"Not a fan of drinkin songs? How bout something on a differnt note"
====Singing====
Minsk girls they have no combs,
Heave away, heave away!
They comb their hair with codfish bones,
We're bound for South China.
Heave away, my bully bully boys,
Heave away, heave away!
Heave away, why don't you make a noise?
We're bound for South China.
Minsk boys they have no sleds,
Heave away, heave away!
They slide down hill on codfish heads.
We're bound for South Australia.
Heave away, my bully bully boys,
Heave away, heave away!
Heave away, why don't you make a noise?
We're bound for South China.
====================
Sasha turns to leave with a smile on his face.
KrazyKelli - December 1, 2003 07:59 AM (GMT)
Amethyst froze as the man cheerfully pushed aside her... pretty persuasive request to stop. As he continued with a new song her fists tightened...
~kill him... go ahead, it wont hurt anything. You don't know him. He's just some filthy man you should rip to shred and cut to pieces.~
Her hand strayed dangeriously close to the tachi's hilt. However, stopped once she could feel the bandage brush it. Tensed, grit teeth.
Glared towards the man as he began to leave. Smileing. Was he mocking her!? HOW DARE HIM!
Thus the woman, trying her hardest not to touch the sword at her side, rushed forwards towards him with a fairly dangerious eye. Aiming to either stop him or all out hit the guy in the back for not stoppin.
Issue13 - December 1, 2003 08:07 AM (GMT)
Sasha paused midverse as he realized something... he wanted to fish but had no idea where to fish at. Maybe that lady he had just passed would know... As he wheeled on his right foot to see if she was still nearby, he saw that she was... in fact, she was closer than he figured she would would have been.
Sasha gave a toothy grin.
KrazyKelli - December 1, 2003 08:17 AM (GMT)
Each progressive step towards the tall russian man forced newer if not fresher views on ways to kill him. Perhaps choke him with his own bandanna. Or grab his fishing untensil and jam it down his throat. The beautiful almost tantilizing look that would've been in his eyes. The blood. The carnage..
No.. That just Was not right. If Amethyst lost herself into this plague of murder now, she might not come back out. Might knock off Obsid... No.. This just Wasn't the time to go loosing it and killing people she didn't know. No matter how loud and sadistically happy they looked.
Her wish to stop her own damaging thoughts was assisted as Sasha stopped and turned around with that big grinning smile. She slowly to a stop, placing hand over bandaged arm, and glared angrilly up at him... Not knowing what to make of the jerk now.. But preparing for anything - specially if he intended to hurt her or cause her to explode in rage... .. How much she hated men...
