A Bridge. Not anything huge. But able to hold at least a loaded horsepulling cart or two. It crosses a rather long river snaking along the side of Edokyo - though the river around this time of the year is only about waist deep. So it's more of a creak. ... Come on, give me a break here.

Not many people crowd around the bridge cept for probable outsiders and the occational villager or fisherman.

*Sasha enters the Bridge*

Sasha arrives at the bridge and decides that there really isn't enough of a river to fish in from the bridge, so he waks to the bank instead. Finding a soft and shaded area, Sasha baits his fishing pole and casts out into the middle of the diminuitive river. After a couple of casts, he deides that hs placement is good enough. The pole is propped up and the Russian is reclined.... gazing at clouds.

Sasha wakes with a start... How long have I been asleep? he wondered... oh well.. no fish on the line... guess I'll head back to that sake shop I saw...

*Sasha exits The Bridge*

Shai walks onto the bridge and looks around. He is completely alone. He takes off his cloak and wades into the water, looking around at its shallow bluish depths. "Maybe i can catch a fish!" he commented energetically. Then he began to dive around, grabbing at water, yet coming up with no fish every time. "Gah! Stupid fish are too fast!" he comments, quickly diving back into the water.

Shai bursts above the water and takes a gasp of the sweet, life giving oxygen. Quickly afterwards, he lifted a huge carp-like fish out of the water. It wriggled in his hands, trying to get free from its captor's grasp. Quickly, Shai climbed back up to the bank of the river and picked up his cloak, holding out the dying fish in front of him.

"Hmm... i wonder what i should do with this fish..." he wondered aloud. Finally he threw the fish back into the water, letting it live for another day when he could capture it again. Exhausted, he walked back to the streets.

It was nearly the brisk of morning. The aura around the area was a misted grey and blue opposed to black and dark blue as the night usually gives. A few stars still shined, the moon was hovering like a knife's sharp cut. And by this early morning foggy light did a lone woman roam.

The last few days have been long and full. Having gathered many a thug and converted them into all into bandits - telling each and everyone to go to her father's old cave in the mt's -, all Ame wanted to do now was take some time off. She never enjoyed working, specially without Shin'i by her side and definately not all night.

So down a small, wet grass hill and over to the bridge she paced in heavily worn sandles. It finally urged her on that the asshole she met was probably still sitting around in the Field. Which was the only place that riddle he gave would make sense. Of course, wasn't planning to go beyond the bridge. Let that asshole wait. She wanted to take her time off.

Stopping upon the bridge, the dark green clothing female adversary hopped up onto the railing and watched the water flow. The dew hanging miserably in the air clung to her robes and forced an odd sheen off her essense, as it did with every other inanimate object in the area.

Slowly, sluggishly, a light pierced the sky behind her. Gradually, it gave layers of color to the once dismal surroundings. Turning her head unsettlingly, that very light carressed the woman's cheek. It traced over the rest of her features, down the bridge, over the trees and grass just beyond the bridge's grip, over the lapping water. Until finally, the sun raised it's final length and touched the other end of hte horizon.

A grin creeped over the woman's lips. This was one thing out of very few she enjoyed, the dawn. It always came to greet her, and never failed. It made the dark dismal air brush away without effort. And, well, it made her smile. These things along kept the woman in her place - facing away from the sun yet still watching it take over the area around her.

Takeno of course, shattered the moment with his off key singing as he began his brisk morning jog over the bridge. His feet slapped loudly against the planks. He didn't take much notice of anything around him. No no no... he was too busy singing his obnoxious song.

The song being to the point of ridiculousness, that it shan't be recorded here.

Finally he approached Ame, slowling, he began to slow his jog down as he approached his old patient, and waved hello.

"Hello!"

This wasn't the first time a filthy man had broken her parched enjoyment of a good sun raising. Though the times in the past were far different - more along the lines of being ambushed or snuck up on with a sword.

Knew well that this man had no intentions of hurting her. He's a doctor for crying out loud. But being presently swordless, Amethyst felt a bit off guard.

Watched him... But wasn't in the mood to start a fight. Which was new, though she didn't know it or show she did.. And though his singing was pretty annoying, she grit her teeth and let him pass...

didn't reply to the hello.. still upon the bridge railing facing the water and not the man. Facing away from the sun that progressively ended it's phoenix of a raise.

Takeno stopped running, and even backtracked to Ame, jogging in place. "Good morning! Is everything alright? Have you fixed my door yet and defeated the samurai with your skills of mass destruction? Or are you just enjoying a lovely, peaceful morning for once?"

He didn't really mind what answer he gave her. And he wasn't a filthy man, he had recently bathed!

He'd probably do that again after this too. Bathe, that is.

Well bathed or not, Ame would still consider him filthy. She glanced roughly over her shoulder at him as if about ready to lay all her turmoil on his shoulders with an axe. But glanced back at the river..

Wasn't about to tell TakeKoi that she was here cause she liked watching the sun raise. But now had to give an answer or he would never leave her alone... first thought of muttering a lie.. like 'I dropped my sake in the river and am mourning it'. However, the woman was pretty blunt and truthful.

so gave a truthful answer.. "Piss off..." Pause... Glower.. "what're you doing out here..."

Takeno continued his rythmic in place jogging. "I'm staying in shape by running. It keeps me from, you know. becoming fat. Have you ever seen someone morbidly obese? I garuntee you, that will never be me."

Or so he hoped.

"Grumpy today as usual I see." He said cheerfuly, "Did you heal up alright?"

The thought of Take Koi being morbidly obese struck her as scary.. like.. a cross between Take and that Gerad guy that Oke knows... A big.. Doctor... Vegitable stalker guy... Wondered for a terrifying moment if she was going to get fat by not running like he was. Shivered.

Shaking that off at his next question, she glowered over her shoulder briefly before - turning head back towards the water - extending her still bandaged hand for him to see.. the bandaged her a bit dirty from her previous Bandit-making with the thugs.. But they surprisingly enough weren't blood stained... She also added in quietly. "And I didn't kill anyone recently..."

Takeno nodded just a little and stopped jogging. He might as well save energy. He leaned up against the bridge railing. He took a moment to mull over what Ame had just said.

"That's always nice." He said diplomatically. Any work he didn't have to do was good work as far as he was concerned. Not that he was lazy.

Mutters something to the effect of the clinic not staying open if she doesn't hurt people.. Adding in a handful of tasteful swearing on the side... Before returning to watching the water...

Much like a poisoness snake, a shiver ran up her back, she turned her head slowly to see he was still there. Angrilly points hand at the sun towards the other side of the bridge.. Nearly yelling out at him.. "It's still morning. Dammit, why aren't you jogging!?"

Takeno shrugged. "Just trying to keep up a healthy friendship with a patient I'll probably have again in a few weeks or so." With that he began jogging in place again. "See you later then, Ame?"

Went into some hard thought... Ame wanted to be left alone again like before.. but now that dawn is done with for today and more people would come by anyway to rid her of personal alone-time, there was an ache of actually being without Take.. or any other close aquaintance for that matter...

"Oi..." she lowered her hand and turned away from him.. but her words were still in his direction.. "you don't have any sake.. do you?" Her voice was low, cautious, and curious all at once...

Takeno shook his head. "No, I need to stay healthy! Not drink. It's easier to perform surgery if you're sober. Besides, I don't like the taste of that stuff."

That probably wasn't true. He did like some alchohol type drinks, but not really. He preferred to keep it out of his diet.

Furrowed her brows.. "damn.." before taking in a large breath and letting out a sigh... the morning dew stuck to her sigh - making it a light whisp of seeable air.

Finally just reached into her pocket and pulled out a bottle. All this useless added work and all. Uncorked it, - turning head to spit the cork onto the bridge instead of in the water - and look a swig.

Glowered again.. before finally turning to Take.. "You aren't performing surgery now, are ya?"

Takeno. "Nah. The only one who's come in really for anything major has been you. So as long as we're in the same place, I figure you won't get injured anytime soon. Hopefully." He really didn't want to get into any fights, so he hoped to high heaven that no one would show up and start one, as from what he gathered... Ame probably summoned them up at will.

Coming down the road and soon after across the bridge were 2 decent-sized thugs. One had a large club with a spike in the end.. the other hand a chain wrapped around his wrist.. They looked like they just wanted to cause trouble..

Slowing down just a few feet from Take, they looked down at the man like an insect. Perhaps surveying him for any worthwhile items to come back and take.. But they just passed by soon after..

Once gone, the woman untensed and relaxed her hands from their balled white-knuckled fists.. She was either preparing for those assholes to attack.. or trying to keep herself from loosing it and killing htem. Which would've been a pain since she recently converted those too assholes to thugdom.

Finally turned around to face Take, still sitting perched up on the rail. Didn't know what to make of his sentance, so kept a weary eye on teh jerk momentarily.. "Feh, I'm sure an asshole falling from a ladder is worseoff than me.." she fit that into the conversation.

He watched as the thugs had walked by. He hadn't been worried, but he had noticed the tenseness of Ame.

"Hmm. Perhaps we'd do best to go inside, Amethyst. I doubt those people had any ill intent. But you seem to be a bit... er... rigid. You might want to have a doctor who isn't me check that out for you.

As for that. I have to head back to the clinic. I've taken too long on my jog, I fear."

Growled out a feral, "I'm fine, just piss off and let me get back to my sitting out here. If I loose it, I'll go kick that Russian doctor guy..."

Eventually turned around so she wasn't facing Take anymore.. let him leave without a complaint...

All the meanwhile a voice deep down inside was whining to be set free and let her reep carnage on the world. No matter how far she pressed it back, it was still there.

Takeno gave up with a shrug, and finally jogged back to the clinic with a wave goodbye. "Good bye! Stay healthy!"

Kiyoi, after having been lost in the city for a long while, manages to find her way to the bridge. She looks around and spots a woman sitting on the railing. She starts to walk over to her to ask her if she could help her find an inn that she could stay at, but stops when she realized who the woman was.

Ame was enjoying the rest of her morning.. People passed by and ran when they got to her part of the bridge.. others - such as cow-drawn hay carts - could give a lesser damn.

But one person didn't run away as fast as the others.. and they got too close for comforts... Ame glanced over at the woman with a stained labcoat..

Quickly turns around, moving to unsheath the sword she didn't have.. curses off.. glowers at hte woman.. before realizing.. hey.. this wasn't mugatou.. peered at the woman slightly to finally decide she didn't know her.. glared down at her.. "what do you want.."

Kiyoi looks the woman over, making sure she was who Kiyoi thought before speaking. "You're that one lady that all those bounty hunters have been after, aren't you?"

Ame took this slightly off handed. She got defensive. then realized that this looked like just some.. person.. kid.. maybe they knew Sasha..

Blinked a handful more times.. Finally, however, the woman answers.. "Yeah... Amethyst.."

Kiyoi smiles and bows. Obviously the fact that Ame was considered dangerous had slipped her mind, just like everything else. "My name is Kiyoi. I've always wanted to meet someone who is famous."

gets even further confused.. therefore, gets pissed.. stomps up to her and shakes a fist.. "If I had my sword right now..... If you weren't a wo-.." growls.."Feh, There's a reason I'm wanted, dammit. So you'd better stay away!"

Was wondering for a blind moment if her words were getting to Kiyoi. But was too stubborn to question it.

Kiyoi stepped back slightly when Ame stomped up to her. She tried to remember why Ame was wanted, she knew someone had told her, but it was to no use. She looked back up at Ame. "Why are you wanted again...? I've kinda forgotten..."

Right then and there Ame nearly popped a vein.. Luckily, she didn't want people to know everything she's done in her life to get a bounty on her head.. nor to stir up memories of such...

So, patting the woman on the head, she muttered like a smoker ready to destroy the world with polution.. "I kill men.. that's how I got it..."

Kiyoi's eyes light up after Ame's incredibly short explaination, as if a light had literally came on inside her head. "Oh! That's right! Now I remember!" She found herself thinking for a moment before asking another question. "...What exactly is so bad about that...?"

"No idea.. Men are just jerks.." suddenly started to dramatically like this person.. And decides,after a while, she can tollerate Kiyoi... for a while..

"Who are you.." she asks, her voice still low and sake-soaked.

She blinked for a moment. "Didn't I tell you my name...?" Kiyoi just shrugged, deciding it best to answer her. "Well, my name is Kiyoi Katagi Sen. Nice to meet you." She bows once again, to be polite, of course.

By the tone of voice Ame wondered if Kiyoi already did introduce herself. but let it slide..Ame didn't have time to dread over small things like that...

Nodded and knew, of course, that she already introduced herself.. paused for a moment.. before pointing at the labcoat.. "are you a doctor..." pause, thinking of her time with Sasha.. "do you have any sake?" =D

Kiyoi looked at her lab coat when Ame had pointed at it. "Oh, no, I'm not doctor. I'm an inventor. I wear this to keep my clothes clean." She then shook her head at Ame's next question. "This is my first time here, so i don't know where anything is... If you could show me around, I could buy you some sake..."

Though about considering.. but soon after waved her off.. Knew better nowadays than to follow or lead a doctor-looking inventer person anywhere... Specially when it concerns sake.. specially after hte muga incident...

shivers... glowering at Kiyoi.. "no... I have better things to do..." she said stiffly, before sitting back up against the rail and facing away from the sun again - glaring at the water beyond the bridge.

Kiyoi sighed slightly, obviously disappointed that she wasn't going to get any help concerning the fact that she was completely lost and had no idea what to do in the city. She proceeded to hop up onto the railing of the bridge and sit down on it, watching the water of the river drift by underneath.

Ame sat there.. thinking... sobering up.. it pissed her off that so much time went by and she was dragged through it like mud. And she felt, almost knew to the core, that even after the crew knocks off the Moribastard and his assholes there would be something else to screw her life over... When would there be peace...

Peace.. that's what she had here right now. All alone, able to watch the water churn below her.

This was, of course, until she noticed someone breathing beside her. As if her neck creaked with each muscle moving, the woman clad in green turned her head slowly to see someone was there beside her. Too close. And she had no sword to protect herself with! Give or take another moment until Amethyst realized it was the Kiyoi person from before.

Never the less, Ame jumps up on the railing, pointed angrilly at Kiyoi as if blaming her for something crucial, "Why can't I just be left alone!" before taking a fatal step off the wrong part of the bridge railing and falling into the water below.

since the water wasn't that deep, she got up soakedly and trudged with sevier anger out of the water. Then, seeing that Kiyoi was still there, Amethyst ran off back onto TheStreets for escape! Run, Ame, RUN!

Kiyoi blinked. If she had thought she couldn't have been any more confused, Ame's outburst made her confusion even worse. Although she wouldn't have admitted it, Ame's reaction to her was rather funny. Once Ame had ran off, Kiyoi allowed herself to giggle slightly, then climbed back over the bridge railing. She debated on whether or not she should wander around the city again, but decided to stay there for a bit. Maybe she could find someone else to help her out.
