They aren't fake lesbians. And I don't think that demoralize is the word you're looking for.. try degrade. Plus, what the heck does their music have to do with animation? And if you hate fakeness, why watch cartoons? Or anime? Or talk on the internet?

Remember that Russian lesbian pop duo t.A.T.u.?? Well, they have their own anime movie coming out... We've got some people from Sakura Wars, Dirty Pair, and even Cowboy Bebop involved in the project. The movie is slated to be 100 minutes (likely with plenty of fan service). No real information on plot at this time... but who cares about plot... the character designs look like they will be fun enough, ha!

I can't stand the fake lesbians, they stand for every thing that demoralizes women. And I don't like there music. So, I'm not expecting anything good to come out of this.

It's just my opinion, don't get so worked up, and your right I should have used degrading. And I don't find lesbians degrading, I find straight women who say they are gay and then say they are straight. It just makes me think they only did it to sell records.

After taking a very long break from thinking about this future anime I must say that I want to see what they are going to do with it. Isn't that Excel Saga's director in there? If it is him I throw up an eyebrow for curiosity.

And I was just thinking about adding to this thread tonight.. because after Kill Boll Vol 2 was soo horrible, this is what I am looking ofrward to... and Aliens vs Predator.. but I digress. It has been a tAtU day... saw a Naruto AMV with one of thier songs in it. Another thing that excites me about this movie: it is a movie. There are no attachments to a series that I will feel obligated to follow. Anyway, bring on the sweet sweet russian girl on girl and help me forget about KBV2.

De Locke, many people do many things just to do something, whether it be faking homosexuality for record sales or pretending to be heterosexual so that your fans won't stop buying your records; music nowadays is just as much about images and gimmicks as the music you're plugging. This instance can be seen as degrading to women, but many others degrade men just as much, no need to generise.

As for this anime, well with 'Nabeshin' Wantanabe as director, two lesbian Russians and a whole host of popular characters on the show... it's going to be ... interesting.

The drawings look pretty nice actually and it'll probably be a good film to watch (as said there's no ties to a series I'd have to buy either) but I'm dreading the annoying, repetetive sex stuff that'll be in it... And from that pose on the main page of the site... I'm praying to God it's not some stupid Charllie's Angel's crap... -_-;
