Found it funny that I'm always playing the sequels to games opposed to starting with the first... Like I played BreathofFire2 before 1.. and Lufia2 before 1... XD And I started with WildArms2... and am gunna start on Grandia2 and StarOcean2 as well...

Anyway, unlike movies, I - silly enough - find the second and third make of the game to be most of the time better than the first.

So what sequels do you think are better than the first of that game name? List your favs...

What Sequels or Triquels or Quaidriquels (etc etc etc) do you recommend people stay far away from or just overall aren't anywhere near as good as the first ones...

And.. What games to you want a sequel to that don't have one yet? XD

I need to find Star Ocean 2 again!!!! I loved that game!!! But my friend was mean to make me have to leave the game at my dad's house and the evil people there ruined it and no one could play it again... -sniffles-

My "collection" of played sequels is a bit lacking... I've only played SO2 and Wild Arms2... But I've played a lot of the games that ended up getting sequels, like Suikoden ((Too... Many... Characters...!!!)), Grandia, and Parasite Eve ((Love the spontaneously combusting people scene... Lots of fire and other stuff. :P)). I don't think the Final Fantasy series counts, because the games aren't true sequels... :P

some sequals are great like the sequal to Silent Hill 1 Silnet Hill 3 but other like FFX-2 is a load of S!@#. they should cut squares tounge out for that :D. but there are games like Silent Hill 2 which has the same name as the predicesor but has nothin to do with it. those games should be burned.

Silent Hill...the best game ever to be released. :lol:
Well, I've played Silent Hill 2 and yes, it had nothing to do with Silent Hill (1) except its town name (the map looked nothing like it did in the first one), but it was still scary as hell. B) I do look forward to game sequels that have things to do with its previous part, but as for Silent Hill; I just wanted to be scared the hell out of.

There's also the Resident Evil Trilogy for Playstation(PSX), and I found RE 2 to be way better than the other to REs, simply because it was more challenging and a lot of fun. It's still no Silent Hill, but it's still fun.
I don't know if remakes count...but the remake of the first RE for PSX for the Game Cube (GC) was quite...diffcult...and I've yet to beat it.

As for RPG sequels, I did play Wild Arms 2 before Wild Arms, but I've never beaten either of the; so...no comment.

One sequel that was most defintely terrible and can kill a big fan of this game is: Sage Frontier 2! That game was awfully done and should be shoved in Squaresoft's certain places. >.> Never played Unlimited Saga, but I heard it sucks; so, for the time being, Saga Frontier (1) is the best among its sequels.
