Well, as the title says, I'm gearing up to go to Sakura Con. It's April 23-25 this year, which is better than it being at the beginning of the month. If you wanna go, you need to hurry and pre-reg soon while it's a $40. The price goes up to $45 after the end of the year. ((Need to get mine sent in... -sweatdrops-))

So far, they don't have much listed in the way of guests... I hope the guys from MegaTokyo show up again this year. I missed last time, but that was because it was my first time going to a con...

As for cosplay... Supposedly a bunch of my friends and I were gonna dress up as characters from FFVI. As far as I know, myself and one of my other friends are still planning on it. I have no idea about the rest of the group... -pokes Aki and Mike- Anyways, I'll be running around as Setzer. As if anyone wouldn't have been able to notice. My other friend is going as Terra. LD, are you still gonna go as Edgar? Aki, Mike ((Kon, whatever... :P )), and a couple others from AH were also gonna dress up, but I haven't talked to any of them for a while, so I'm just gonna assume that they're not until I hear otherwise. I may end up convincing some other friends to go with us instead. :P

I'm not sure if I'm ever going to prereg for this damn thing. I'll remember, then forget. ^^; Aw well, I need to save up money for it either way. @_@ And start getting meterials for a costume and talk with me grandma, see if she can help out with it.

The guy that does Saturnalia is going to be there, if it makes any difference. *shrugs*

I wanted to go this year, but I still don't have a way to pay for it. Saving up too much money for myself, ye'see. ;)

A bit off topic.. but how the hell do you know how tall the characters are?

I really want to go to this thing.. Seattle is pretty much home for me... Is anyone getting together to defray hotel room costs?

We all live near the place it's held at. I know CC lives within walking distance. :P I live about a 15 min drive from it. So we have no clue as to what the hotel costs are. XD

And although the place Sakura Con is being held at is on the other side of the airport from me, I don't necessarily call that 'walking distance.' That and I'm too damn lazy to walk there. But then, that might be better than freaking tons of people out if I dressed up and rode the bus. :P Though that sounds like fun...

I'd still love to go as Edgar but... isn't it comming up a bit fast for any of us to get good costumes together?

We've still got almost 4 months, LD!!! I think that's plenty of time, if we actually go out and TRY to get costumes together... :P

Then we could go on an expedition to the fabric store. I should talk to my grandma, I don't think she'd mind helping put costumes together. She once made one of my Halloween costumes. :)

Heh, 4 months for you is great but... I cant get crap in 4 months. Besides, isn't your grandma putting your costume together or something? (cant remember) Ah well.. I honestly don't see myself going this year anyway. Money constraints and all that. :/

Aki's having her grandma help her get her costume together. All I have to do is buy a white fancy dress shirt, black slacks, long white wig, and do a few modifications to a black trenchcoat and I'll be set. :P

Ahh, heh.

I have to make armor, get a hold of a sword, find a wig or hair attatchment, get a halfsize cloak, maybe an autocrossbow thingie. But yeah, I probably cant go till next year due to lack of funds.

I'm probably going to make my way to this thing, much to the horror of many of you I'm sure. Not planning to cosplay because that would probably end up being the wort thing in the very existance of the world, so rather than force you aoll to claw your eyes out much as Oedipus did, I shall refrain from dressing as any character ranging from Gattsu to Sailor Moon (not that I ever planned to do so). I just need to (as many of you do) save my money so I can actually enjoy the con.
