This is a little flashback of the past plot that was going on when RKRP was on AH. I'm typing this up....just because I can. This is going to be very long, but it'll be a good tid bit to know whenever people want Moritsune to come back to spice things up like he did last time....
So yeah....Ranc's old flashback plot sequence....go!
Hayate is the bastard son of Moritsune. A unwanted child, who if brought to public light, could ruin the reputation of Moritsune. Moritsune is a very powerful samurai war-lord. Leader of the Ryukami no ten (Divine dragons of heaven). Moritsune's clan Ryukami no ten is a very powerful clan of samurai. So powerful its considered a sub-army to the Japanese government. Moritsune works with the government to exterminate and destroy any criminals or enemies they may encounter. Whats his reward? The government pays Moritsune quite well, and allows him his own bastions of ruling power.
Ironically, many of the Ryukami no ten's generals were actually former criminals themselves. And the methods this samurai clan uses are definetely illegal. Genocide is a word very familiar to Moritsune, or at least it should be. The Ryukami no ten has been known to sweep through villages, mercilessly murdering anyone who is affiliated with criminals. Villages have been shattered, however some people refer to the Ryukami no ten as heros for protecting them from evil bandits.
Moritsune himself is a very skilled, and powerful, swordsman. (More will be detailed in his profile whenever I post it). Said to be the best, rumor has it he has never lost a duel. Ever.
Moritsune thought he killed Hayate 3 years ago, during the invasion of another village (read Hayate's profile for details). However, when given orders to come to Edo to 'cleanse the town of evil', Moritsune discovers Hayate is indeed alive.
Hayate is proof that Moritsune is nothing but a bastard, cold-hearted rapist man. Therefore, the existance of Hayate could be very damaging to Moritsune's reputation. Hayate however, has too much pride and hatred to even consider Moritsune to be his father....and keeps it a very well gaurded secrect.
Moritsune comes into Edo, immediately starting to take it over. Executing bandits and criminals in the streets and using the Inn as a temporary holding place for his men. Taking over most of the police force also in the process. As Moritsune takes over the inn, he begins to send his troops everywhere else and begins to construct a big fortress. Of course, he shows disrespect to the police forces under him. Mainly to officer Hiroki. Moritsune also shows disrespect to the local shrine, and it's maiden Umi Yukino.
When Hayate learns that Moritsune has come to Edo, the boy begins to fume. (I cant remember the exact details....cause this was sooo long ago....but somehow Hayate and Aki become allies. So um yeah!). Hayate and Akisu join alliances, as well as officer Hiroki. They all make their headquarters at the Hebbi no dojo. Hayate's dojo he was training at, as a samurai. There the people began to make plans on a possible way to bring down Moritsune. The plan being, was to get the samurai of Hebbi no to attack the samurai of the Ryukami no ten.
Meanwhile, while this was going on, Umi was chained up and being truth serumed. And a certain infamous woman was also being drugged. A few moments before, Moritsune was successful in capturing Amethyst. There the woman was chained up and administered special drugs by one of Moritsune's generals, Mugatou. Mugatou is a medical genious and a very evil doctor. There Moritsune devised a plan to get very famous, and to become Edo's next hero....
Mugatou would drug Ame into a strange, pyschotic trance. Using hallucinagetic drugs that would run through the woman's blood. An addictive drug that caused mental laspes. It also numbed the effects of pain on the body. The result, the user would get washed into a hallucinagetic illusion. One that would laspe them into a violent pyschotic outburst. Over time, their heart would beat faster and their muscles would be immune to the effects of pain. Meaning the user would be extremely fast, and extremely powerful for a short moment in time. Mugatou injected Ame with that drug, and unleashed the strong woman on the unsuspecting people of Edo.
Ame makes short work of them. Slaughtering and killing many. The police come, but they are no use. Ame kills all, and starts quite a scene. People are terrified of the demon woman. Of course, the drugs do wear off. And when they do wear off, the user is dramatically weakened. Moritsune conviently showed up at the exact moment the drugs wore off.
The weakened Ame falls easily to Moritsune. He beats her up, but doesnt kill her. After all, he still had uses for her. Moritsune proclaims to the people of Edo, that the evil, wicked, dangerous Ame has been captured by the Ryukami no ten. The people rejoice that Moritsune 'saved' them from her, and instantly proclaim him as their new hero.
After winning the hearts of the people Moritsune threw Ame back into chains. After awhile, she escapes....only to be plagued with a horrible addiction for Mugatou's 'medicine'.
Back to the other plot (this past has layers of the stuff!). Hayate and Aki become 'mutual allies'. The two never got along in the past. Hayate and Aki were formally worst enemies. However, their new hatred for Moritsune bonded them together. Aki was in love with Umi, and when Moritsune kidnapped her from the shrine, Aki started to hate him. There was a reason of why Moritsune kidnapped Umi though. It was to get to Aki, who at the time, was a very famous criminal. It was Zaiko (correct me if I'm wrong, my memory does suck remember?) that told Moritsune Aki was in love with Umi. And of course, Zaiko was a crooked cop who hated Aki.
Hayate was unaware of Umi's capture. Aki however, was not. It is here then Moritsune decides to do something....very evil.
Aki recieves a letter....the warlord was going to make a deal. Moritsune knew Aki knew where Hayate was. Moritsune also knew that the Hebbi no dojo samurai were a small threat. Moritsune makes a deal with Aki. Umi's life for Hayate's. As an added objective, Moritsune says "the more Hebbi no dojo die, the better condition Umi gets returned". Aki is forced to betray Hayate for the woman he loves.
Aki goes to a warehouse, gets a ton of explosives, then blows up the dojo. Hayate is horribly wounded, and all of the Hebbi no dojo samurai get killed. The only known survivors were 5. Hayate, Halyu, Seiryu, Reiji, and Anzai. However, a good number of (npc) samurai were still alive. Just unknown for now (it'll be explained later in this post! teeheeeheeeeeee).
Moritsune, in good villian fashion, betrays Aki and tries to kill him. Umi is handed over to Zaiko who 'plays' with her. All while, Hiroki tries to get closer to Moritsune. Umi tries to seduce Moritsune some time later. She fails, horribly, and ends up having to stab Hiroki and reveal his attempt at spywork. After Moritsune evily 'has his way' with her, the woman is tossed onto the streets and Hiroki is left bleeding away. Captured.
Hiroki over hears that one of Moritsune's generals, Zalyuk, was planning a coup de tat. Hiroki ends up telling Moritsune about this. Its then that the warlord makes another deal.
Hiroki can avoid his execution if he kills Zalyuk. In a duel. If Hiroki wins, he would also become the replacement general. Hiroki agrees, and the duel begins. However...this duel was rigged. In the shadows Mugatou was loading up a drug needle. Hiroki was badly wounded by Umi's stab. Zalyuk was in perfect condition. Moritsune decided to rig the battle by having Mugatou shoot Zalyuk in the shadows with the needle. Thus, slowing the man down dramatically.
Hiroki wins the duel, and becomes Moritsune's newest general. Moritsune awards Hiroki by ensuring Umi is exempt from danger. Also gives the man his own army and alot of money. Hiroki was in love with Umi, and Moritsune gave the man everything he wanted. Thus, Hiroki switches sides and ultimately becomes loyal to Moritsune.
What little rebel faction was started, had been crushed. Hayate ended up hating Akisu for his betrayal. Aki became a loner, having to deal with nightmares of his betrayal and isolation from Umi. Ame was struggling with her addiction and ended up getting captured again. Being re-drugged and all of that. Ame is even tortured horribly by Mugatou. Mugatou is a very skilled man at torturing people. Ame ends up in a vicious cycle of torture, fighting, captures, and hypnosis.
And then the fortress is built.
While the army was moving, Hayate and Seiryu decide to attack. The two do a good amount of damage to the army, but Seiryu ends up having to run away and Hayate ended up having to fight another one of Moritsune's generals.
Tetsuo Ubushingai. Hayate's half-brother. Tetsuo and Hayate fight for a long time, and Tetsuo ends up being horribly wounded. (he gets killed, but erm....I want him back because there was so much stuff that could've been done with his character. He got killed off too soon cause Umi talked me into somethings but eh this is a different site and since I am the creator of the stuffage... yeah.). Hayate won the duel but ends up bleeding horribly in a gutter somewhere. Halyu carries him away to go heal.
The fortress is built, Hayate ends up being healed somewhere, Aki is plagued with nightmares of his betrayal and becomes increasingly lonely, Ame continues to fight with her addictions....but Aki's depression becomes horrible. He ends up trying to kill himself because of all the guilt and depression. Also, because Aki was exposed to Mugatou's mind altering drugs..... Who ends up stopping Aki from doing this? Ironically, it was Hayate. Hayate ends up stopping Aki from killing himself, and (somehow...yeah I forgot...) reunites Aki with Umi. The two are reunited, but Hayate warns Aki never to cross his path again because he knows he killed killed the samurai.
Hayate goes off somewhere to heal / train, while the Ame portion is deepened. Mortisune finds her useful for destruction. Mugatou also becomes pyschotically obsessed with the woman. Calling her his 'daughter'. Amethyst ends up being hypnotized to go after everyone she once cared about. Okesa and Obsidian for example. She is also hypnotized to go after people she didnt care about. Hayate, Aki, and Umi mainly. Ame is slowly drugged into believing an alternative world. Hypnotized and lost within an illusion. She is convinced Moritsune is her long lost father, and ends up doing what he says.
(A whole buncha stuff happens here, but I forget in what order and stuff....so err I'll just say it here. It may not be in the correct order but who cares....) Ame breaks outta the hypnosis and duels against Moritsune - losing, Obsid and Oke try to save Ame but Okesa ends up being drugged also. Hypnotized to kill Ame and Obsid, but he fails. Moritsune's army begins to mobilize around, and discovers Hayate is STILL alive. As well as Aki.
Moritsune decides to put huge bounties on the heads of Akisu and Hayate. Aki's bounty becomes 1 million yen, and Hayate's 2 million. Aki tries to get his rich, also-evil-villain-boss, Enma, to fight against Moritsune. Enma doesnt really do much anything, but does threaten Moritsune. The army goes after Hayate and Aki, and the two end up meeting. They both discover their bounties, and after a round of drinks...they tell their life stories and bond. Hayate secrectly forgives Aki of his betrayal, and blames it on Moritsue more. Hayate and Akisu become friends. Their pasts were similar, after all.
Aki calls Hayate 'Oniichan' (Older brother) out of affection. Hayate doesnt really say anything much back however. The two live a life on the run from the police, and hide their identities. Avoiding the army and planning how to brind Mori down. Of course, this is all difficult seeing how Aki blew up all the troops....
Those two do stuff while Ame fights against, and with , Mori. On and off, struggling with her addictions and begins to question herself. Ame ends up in her own depression, wondering whats real and whats an illusion. Pushing away some friends in the process in her confusion. Ame begins to lose herself and spirals down, becoming even more pissed off and angrier at Moritsune. (stuff happens, I forget what......)
Obsid and Oke continue to try to find a cure for Ame's sickness, with the help of Enma. Of course, this never actually happens because they end up failing....
Moritsune however gets attacked by Mashinyami, out of the blue. Mashinyami was another villain who apparently didnt like Moritsune's monopoly on villianry. A big, huge war happens with both sides having their own losses. Moritsune's fortress takes damage, and Mashinyami's troops end up being repelled.
As re-enforcement, Akisu's father who just happened to be another one of Mori's generals, comes in to serve Moritsune. And to replace Tetsuo, who was currently in critical status. Kuro Hisakata was the name of this new general. Kuro gets Tetsuo's men, and starts to re-enforce Moritsune's army.
While this happens, Hayate and Aki spend their time locked away in a hidden warehouse. Getting drunk and planning things out. The two end up having to fight against Kajiki and other law officials. Hayate saves Aki from Kajiki of course. More stuff happens, and Anzai ends up joining the scene. Anzai was Hayate's master from the dojo. Upon learning of his fallen comrades, Anzai gets a hatred of Moritsune and joins to help Aki and Hayate.
However, there were surviving samurai from the hebbi no dojo. Kuro rounded those men up, along with a big number of other criminals. Mugatou was happy and began to experiment on those humans. The evil doctor turned the former samurai into freakish drugged abominations. Reiji, another survivor of the Hebbi no dojo, attacks Moritsune in rage to avenge his fallen brothers. However it turns out Reiji and Mugatou were cousions. Reiji gets captured and hypnotized to hunt Hayate and Akisu. However he breaks free to fight with them (after almost killing Aki, of course XD).
Reiji, Anzai, and Hayate. The last remnants of the Hebbi no reunited. They are immediately pitted against Mugatou's freakish creations. They're former brothers of the dojo. Hypnotized and drugged, as well as bolted with iron. (Reiji called them "Uber samurai zombies". That made me chuckle XD). The three fought against them, but they were EXTREMELY powerful. Hayate gets badly beaten up, and Mugatou captures the boy. Dragging him to Moritsune.
Moritsune and Hayate meet for the first time, in a long time. Hayate in chains of course. Moritsune tortures Hayate both physically, mentally, and emotionally. However he gives the ronin a chance to fight. To mock him of course. Hayate, after being beaten up, is given a sword. Hayate immediately attacks Moritsune, and a duel occurs. Well....more of like a slaughter.
Moritsune tears Hayate apart again. Hayate is within inches of his life when he is healed again. Moritsune was going to have Hayate publically executed the next day. Hayate spends the rest of the night in regret and confusion. Moritsune's insults actually end up piercing the boy....he actually starts to believe he has no friends, and that all hope is lost.
Of course Hayate does have friends. Anzai and Aki plan to rescue him. Those two do so right during Hayate's public execution scene. Hayate was going to be stoned to death by rocks. After being stoned (heheh...Hayate got stoned...) horribly, to (again) inches to his life, Hayate gets rescued by Anzai and Aki. But with another figure on the screen.
A old man, a skilled old man by the name of Yoshin appears to help. Yoshin was a former general of the Ryukami no ten. Before it was taken over by Moritsune. Yoshin joins to help in the battle against Moritsune. Things start looking up for the 'good' guys.
Yoshin explains all of Moritsune's past to the people. Yoshin was said to be one of the greatest samurai to ever live. He served under Goemon Ubushingai and Kagero Ubushingai. The two were actually just and noble. They really did protect people from bandits, and helped villages. They had a son, Moritsune Ubushingai. Moritsune ultimately fell in love with a woman named Sakura. As Yoshin says it, Moritsune loved Sakura deeply. Then she was killed by a group of criminals and bandits. Moritsune becomes hate filled, and goes to kill all the bandits.
After his killing spree, Yojinto appears and begins to pull Moritsune's string. In time, Moritsune leans a coup against his mother and father. Inheriting the clan early. As time passes the Ryukami no ten evolves into the genocidal dictatorship it is known today. Yoshin fled away and is one of the only survivors.
Yoshin is of course, very old....but he can still kick your ass.
Hayate, Aki, Yoshin, and Anzai end up moving to the mountains in a cave. The warehouse was destroyed. Hayate ends up having to heal, and more events happen.
Kuro ends up getting killed, and more damage is done to Moritsune's army. Hayate ends up dissapearing and Moritsune ends up leaving to go to Yojinto to get more re-nforcements. The Ryukami no ten leaves Edo, and things have settled down just a bit.
For now.
