Kel walks up the street, looking for her kitten.

"Gil!!! Gil!!! Here, kitty!!!"

Gil, in the meantime, made himself quite comfortable on Kai's lap, purring as he was pet.

*He continued to pet Gil. He would have gotten up to go to the blacksmith's, but the sun was still out and would be for a few more hours. He sighed, really starting to hate the problems that came with his powers.*
*He then heard Kel yelling for her kitten.* Hey, yer cat be over here! *yelling back at her.*

Kel turned and saw Kai sitting under a tree with Gil curled up on his lap. She walked over to them, giggling slightly.

"That's cute... Gil likes you. He's never been that nice to anyone before."

Gil looks up and mews, getting off Kai's lap and walking over to Kel, rubbing against her legs. Kel sits down on the ground and pets the kitten.

Ah... *Still leaning against the tree.* So what're ye doing out of the shop? Taking the cat fer a walk? -_^

Kel smiles and nods, picking Gil up and placing him in her lap. "Yeah... It gets a little slow around here sometimes, and you've gotta find something to do to pass the time. If not, you'll probably go nuts or something..."

Gil promptly curls up in her lap, making himself quite comfy.

Ah.... *was then interuped by his stomach grumbling.* Hmm... I haven't eaten in awhile... and that jerk Kon got in my way when I was going to the tavern. -.-

Kel tilted her head a little. "Kon...? Who's that?" Curiousity got to her, not that she was worried. The saying "Curiousity killed the cat" didn't apply to her nor Gil, since they've gotten into plenty of trouble.

Some jerk who's sole perpose in life seems t' be t' torture me. An example would be that he just tried t' drown me by throwing me int' the water. I've been sitting here waiting fer me clothes t' dry off. *He didn't want to tell her the main reason he'd been sitting there.*

Kel looked at him, a little confused. That didn't seem right. Why would someone sit in the shade if they wanted their clothes to dry? "Wait... If you want your clothes to dry, shouldn't you be out in the sun...?"

It...was getting a bit t' hot fer me in the sun, so I moved t' the shade. This black coat gets pretty warm in the sun. ^^;
*Hoped that would get her to quit bugging him about it, for the time being. Only problem now was going to be moving in the sunlight.*

Kel nodded, his excuse believable enough for her. She picks Gil up again and sets him on her shoulders, the kitten meowing in protest at being moved. He was perfectly fine on her lap and it was more comfortable there.

Um.... so... where are ye going? Ye wouldn't mind bring me some food, would ye? *He gave her an innocent smile.* I'd like t' wait fer me clothes t' dry before going anywhere.

Kel looked at him and sighed, obviously not thrilled about having to do something that she thought he could easily do himself. "Alright... What do you want...?"

Hmm? A large plate of noodles, some bread rolls, a bowl of soup, and a mug of ale. *He grinned, thinking that a bit of a light meal, but he didn't want her carrying too much*

Kel blinked a little, trying to remember everything he said. She put a hand on her hip, doing her little scolding thing, but giggling a little. "I'm not a waitress, you know..."

*Smilled, he wouldn't have to go into the sun and he'd get food, that was good at least.* Yeah, I know, now go get me food. *He leaned back against the tree.*

Kai's order prompted a glare from her before she turned and walked off, headed for the tavern, muttering something every now and then about how she better get paid for doing this for him.

Kel walks back from the tavern, carrying a tray with the food on it. She walks back over to where Kai is sitting and sets the tray on the ground next to him. She sits down nearby and takes the food she got for herself and Gil off.

*grins as he sees the food. As soon as she set it on the ground he already had a roll or three in his mouth. He picked up the plate of noodles and got a big thing of it on his fork and ate that in one bite. Continued to eat, taking a few swigs of ale here and there to wash the food down*

Kel watched as Kai practically inhaled his food, staring in shock. She'd never really seen anyone eat that fast, not even during her stays on Zako's ship. She set Gil down and placed the plate with fish in front of him, which he promptly began to chew on, while she ate her noodles.

*He finished with the noodles, then started on the soup. Practically gulping it down. He finished that just as quickly then started eyeing Kel's plate.* Yer not going t' eat all of that, are ya?

Kel's response is a glare as she moved her plate away from his reach. "It's my food. You can't have it."

*glares at her, then looks down at the fish the cat had.* Is he going t' eat all of that?

Kel looks down at Gil. "I don't know. But if you try to take it from him before he's done with it, he'll tear your hand apart."

*Thinks about it for a moment, then gives up and leans back against the tree.* I'm still hungry though... -.-

Kel sighs. "Why don't you get your lazy ass up and go get your own food?" She glares at him, making it clear she didn't really wanna listen to his whining.

Because me clothes are still wet, that's why! *They were perfectly dry at this point, but he still was going to use that as an excuse.*

Kel rolled her eyes at him. "No, they're not. They're completely dry." She crossed her arms, still glaring at him.

How d' ye know, yer not wearing them. Now go get me more food.... please? -.- *He said as an after thought, but none to nicely.*

Kel continues to glare at him, but then promptly holds her hand out. "Give me the money to buy and I'll go get you some more."

*Glared at her hand, then looked back up at her, then away* ...I dun have any money.... *He said quietly*

Kel blinked, a little surrpised by that. But instead of having a fit about it, she simply nodded and got up, taking the tray with her and headed back to the tavern to get him some more food.

Kel comes back with another plate of food for the bottomless pit. She sets it down by him. "Y'know, if this keeps up, I'm gonna end up becoming good friends with the waitresses in there..." She giggled a little at that thought.

*Grinned again and started making the food on the plate disappear. He'd been missing a meal or two a day lately, and for him that was the equivalency of starving to death. After a few minutes, the food was gone, once again.* Ah, I feel better now. ^^

Kel laughed as she watched him inhale the food yet again. "Next time, would you like me to get you a straw?" She reached over and petted Gil, who had practically cleaned off the fish and purred when he was pet.

A straw? *Not quiet understanding the comment, then looked over at the empty mug* Ye dun need a straw fer ale. Ye just take a swig. -_^

Kel promptly bursted laughing, finding his misunderstanding quite amusing. She was laughing too hard to be able to clarify herself on what she had meant.

*Looked at her curiously and started to glare at her.* What's s' funny? -.- Ye dun drink ale with a straw, or did ye not know that?

She finally managed to get her laughing under control before responding to him. "It was a joke. And I wasn't talking about ale. I know you don't use a straw." She had to keep from snickering the whole time she was talking in order to not laugh again.

Then what ye asking me about a stra....er... never mind, I dun want t' know. -.-
*He leans back against the tree and closes his eyes, sun wasn't going to set any time soon and having that much food was making him tired. He really didn't want to sleep there, though, what if Kon came back?*
