I found through my quest of gathering more anime that there is nothing better than actually hunting hte tapes/dvds down. It takes longer, sure, but it makes the anime that much better..

XD me worse case in anime hunting was with Tenchi OVA1. Cause I couldnt' find tape 6 until I ordered it 8 months later =P And that just made the anime rule all to me.. XD I also collected the eps outta order...


Anime hatching is what I did afterwards.. where you buy every tape/dvd when it first comes out instead of actually going store to store looking for it...

XD But recently, since anime sorta went up 10 bucks a dvd, I've been dling it.. the hunt isn't as strong and I can easily queltch a series in a heart beat... This new series marathon sorta made animes more bland to me for some reason...



Anyway, have you anime hunted before? Which anime? Are you still hunting a specific anime or eps down? XD when you switched from buying tapes/dvds to dling off the net, did your anime experience change at all...

The only hunt I am currently on of for Arimtage in it's original 6 part form... rather than the Poly-Matrix movie version.

Actually, I also want to find copies of Blazing Exchange Student. My friend has one ep that he copied back in 1993... and we have never even seen it mentioned anywhere except in one webside that lied about what the story line was.

Now I Bit Torrent and IRC... unless I know want it and it is out in the US.. then I order it of Amazon.. because I work for a living and I like to treat myself.

For the life of me, I cant seem to find Pet Shop of Horrors! Ive found the mangas, and will be getting just about all of them realitvely soon, but Id like to see about getting the actual anime. Ive even tried Kaaza, but no luck there either... hmmmm.

Vulp. If FYE is still around in LivoniaMall, go there and look for it on tape. I saw it there on my last visit.

But I gotta warn you.. PetShop of Horrors was one of hte worse anime ever made =P

Its been driving me nuts I can't find this anime. Bell of Chiren or maybe just Lamb's Bell was the title of the dub... Its really old. Its a piece of my childhood. I can't find it even mentioned anywhere on the net. or to download. or to buy in stores. Its like it doesn't exist anymore.... : (

Its about this lamb, that seeks revenge on some wolves, something like that. I was so young when I watched it....Its mentioned briefly in a book about anime posters that I saw in a bookstore the other day and that got me to thinking about it again...T_T

I'm having one of those moments (more like months) of not having the money for the DvD and finding it or having the money and not finding the DvD. I can't find the 1st DvD for Mahoromatic season 2. Its driving me insane! and whats adding salt to my wounds is that I can find the 2nd and 3rd discs in the set but NEVER the 1st ;_;

oh, saw it on a webpage, I had it mispelled, so that's why I found nothing...its Bell of Chirin (Chirin no Suzu) or Ringing Bell for the dub. still, doesn't do me any good, can't obtain it anywhere. heh.... ;_;
