"He loki, step into the small room to the right of you please"Obsidian said

He walks over to the pannel as the scientist walked outside. he pushes a few buttons and the room lit up

"Loki becareful, if u can't handle them leave the room okay?" Obsidian said

Obsidian jumped as the man looked at him. he could now tell he was Insomnian. Obsidian did not want to approach th man he was not sure if he would attack. He wanted to get to the town as fast as he could, being out at night was not to smart. Obsidian smiled as he knew he was definitly startle the man walking away. With unrealistic speed Obsidian ran past the man. He stopped suddenly as he noticed glowing green eyes appear around him. the sudden stop caused a mass of winds. his claws seemingly appeard on his hands. the creatures rushed him. he humped to avoid them but one had cut his leg with a sharp talon. the creatures were very hard to see in the darkness. he attemptes to dash at one but the wound in his leg prevented him from makin a succesful attack on the group. the charged him again and he was able to dodge them with out screwing up. he now looked at the amount of eyes. they are 4 of them, and their fast. Obsidian held his claws to his side and seemed to appear on the other side of the closest monster to him. the eyes fadded and the the body of the creature hit the ground. Obsidian was winded and his leg was hurting bad.

There are 2 races you can choose from, Sulairian or Insomnian.
Sulairians Description. A very high tech race, with lots of technology at their side. A race that has a type of energy about them, Blue, Red, Dark, Light. the energy had no effect on how they think or act.
Dark Effects Light energy people a whole lot, it will probably kill them. As Dark are also weak to Light Energy, and still weak but not quite as bad to blue energy.
Light attacks Very effective against Dark, but weak to dark attacks. weak to red but not as bad.
Red attacks are ver effective against Blue, but weak to blue attacks. Weak to light but not as bad
Blue... if you have not figured it out by...
Sularians can tell other sularians because the can see the energy raidiating off them.
Sulairian's have a variety of strange hair and eye colors
Sulairians age like this. every 1 human year is like 25 years sularian years. sulairians reach maturaty at 450 and die at 1750
Insomnias are a heavily religion people, they are very skilled in weaponry and literature. the pysicial streangth is better than a Sulairian. Insomnians also have a variety of hair and eye colors.
Insomnians never sleep, hense their name.
Insomnians age: 1 human= 10 insomnian years, the reach maturaty at 180 years and die at 750 years

Half breed: the 1/2 breed has a weak energy ability and some pyscic abilities not like the full thing. If there is a red energy 1/2 breed there are still very vounerable to blue energy. they are stringer pysicaly than Sulairians but weaker than Insomnians. They age 1 human year is like 15 years. they reach maturity at 270 and die at 1350. 1/2 breeds are incrediably rare.


The date is 1387 the calander is just like our own.(because i'm not gonna come up with a unique calader in 30 minutes :P )

Sulairian weapon info: Very high tech weapons usually melee weapons. your best vet is be creative, but don't go over board. their weapons make up for their pysical weakness/

History of Sulairians: Sulairians were always people of science. they are evoulved Insomnians. they evoulved 1000 years ago from the preasent date of the. they were always looked at as evil by Insomnians and were never accpeted. For much of their history the stayed away from Insomnians and built their own world. in 1000 year they have progressed for beyond Insomnians. in 1355 Insomnians viciosly attacked the Sulairians with out warning. as oppose to fighting back the just ran away. the attacked stopped when the well known warrior was killed. the next 30 years for Sularians were harsh. they struggled to get back on their feet. they succesfully rebuilt their society and government.

Insomnian weapon info: If from Kira like some pistols like modern day ones. anywhere esle ur basic and exotic melee weapons. they have an ability that counters the Inomnian energy.

History of Insomnians: they orginized around -789 and slowly began to grow. man different empires formed and war broke out constantly. it wanst until 0 when they formed one unifieng system, a universal religion. this topeed most of the wars and peace last for a long time. at 387 some Insomnians started to evoulve some special energy abilities. Insomnians quickly exiled them thinking the abilites were evil magic. the empire has not changed much in 1000 years. the architecture grew more beutifle and elegant. in 1355 a strong influencal leader declared that Sulairians must be delt with. The leader made every Insomnian think the Sulairians were gonna deystroy the Inomnian Empire.

Description: He is a mercenary from the Ring of Stones. he is the rank Obsidian, the most elite rank. his speed is unmatched by all. he is tough to hit, but he goes down easy when hit. He has Long blue hair, like Inu Yasha's, he wears a long coat, similer to a trecnh coat, with dark blue designs on it.

Attitude: He is very comical, he thinks fast and accuratly. When it comes to battle he prefers to stay back and attack at the right moment. He is very fun to be around, though he seems to be a mysstery to some people.

Weapon discription: the masamune has religious runes going down the side that pretty much states a prayer to protect loki.

Discription: Growing up in service to the church Loki found religion a bit tedious, but would not dare forsake his beliefs. He spends most of his time reading and practicing with his weapons. He continues to strive to make himself as fast as he can in battle. And continually believes he can manipulate objects with his mind, he mentally trains everyday by meditating seeing as how he does not sleep. He does not have a lot of friends seeing as how he spends most of his time trying to better himself.

Attitude: usually apathetic or stoic. Can crack a smirk here or there.

The great warrior Opal has dissapear, which ended the the genocide of the Sulairians. The genocide left heavy racism between the two races. In just 30 years the Sulairians have rebuilt their entire empire. 10 years after rebuildingtheir empire the leader of the Ring of Stones dissappeared after strange monsters started to appear all over the world. For years the two races blamed eachother for the monsters appearance. Very recently the monsters have grown more powerful and started attacking towns and cities. Both races agreed to work togeather and get to the bottom of the monsters We will start in a insomian town. most of the character will start here. the town name is Kira. Kira is the Holy Land for the Main INsomnian Religion.

*Loki sits under a tree on the outskirts of town, that stands on the edge of a hill, looking out to the rest of the world as the sun sets screaming a silent warning that night lingers on the edge of a second. *

"The monsters come out to play..."

*Loki closes his eyes and sighs. He gets up and starts to walk back into town weary of any danger.*

Obsidian had been traveling for only an hour or so. his newest job was for him alone, it was nothin that couldn't be handle by one person. it was mostly a reaserch assignment. he was eager to reach Kira he had never been there and also thats where the monsters appear the most according to the data givin to him. Obsidian was now just walkin up to the hill just outside of town. he stopped to look around. He walked slowly to the top, and taking in the cool air of the night. the wind blew gentally acros his face. he looked down the hill and saw a man. he was shocked. he wonderd why he hadn't noticed him befor. he was having a hard time destiginguishing if he was Sularian or Insomnian. he could care less, to him it doesn't matter.

*Loki stopped in his tracks. He sensed a presence behind him. He layed a hand on his sword and glanced at his right smirking, believing that a monster has come to fight. As he turned slowly he noticed a figure standing in the spot where he once sat.*

"well...."

*the figured looked huminoid enough. But looks can be decieving.*

~hmm what to do... should i attack? no. i shouldn't. i'll just ignore it.~

*loki turns and continues to walk back into town.*

*Loki stands in pure amazement with this new person speed. And then jealousy hit him. He wanted to be the fastest creature alive, but apparently there are creatures faster than him. The reality came back to him as he noticed that this person was being attacked. According to his religion you help those in need. With a simple gesture he pulls out his masamune and rushes into battle, the sword trailing behind.*

OOC: i probably didn't spell it right...donno if i can post that since it means in the name of the father, son, and holy spirit.

IC:*Loki rushes into battle quickly dodging one of the monsters claws by crouching. He then plunges his masamune into the creature, turning the blade, blood spilling everywhere, even on his face. His face showed no emotion. From behind a creature scratched his back, leaving bloody marks. Loki turns and blocks the creatures next attack, then parry's until he saw an opening and just plunged his blade into the creatures eyes. Then he pulled out his dagger and stabbed him in the skull. The Creature fell motionless. Loki pulled the dagger out and wiped it clean, and turn to see this person fighting the last monster.*

Obsidian was shoked to dee the man help him. he turned to the last creature. it leaped at him befor he culd attack. he stepped out of the way and the creature landed perfectally, Obsidian also leaped into the air, which was not wise, he tore his wound open more. and brought his claws down inthe the back of the creature. hhe had almost cut the creature in two, it fell to the ground with a thud. he srood up. his leg looked terrible. "Thank you for your help: Osidian said very formaly. He started to limp to town, the pain was intende bbut if he were to get some bandages or something of that nature he could definitly stop the bleeding.

Weapon: tonfa... but techno enhanced... vibro upgraded.. selectable frequencies targeted to force the opponent to pass out/puke/have seizures/other stuff.. wielder is shielded from these effects. They can also frequency scan physical objects to cause them to fracture. An additional benefit of these is noise canceling that acts as something of a stealth field for sound.

Other gear: Balance wears chameleon camo… it is a combat suit that subtly shifts its colors and patterns to blend in with the environment. This ability is shut off when not needed and the suit becomes something like a utility uniform. Has a basic med kit and a small computer/utility kit.

Description: As a half breed, Balance is an outcast of both worlds.. duh... Balance is the result of the hopes of a Sularian man and an Insomnian woman... His father being much to wild for normal Sularian society and his mother being much too analytical for Insomnian society. Both were members of a political cult that wanted peace between the races... Balance was raised by the group until it was broken up by the Insomnians at the beginning of their attack on the Sularians. Balance was about 150 at the time, so not more than a 10 year old human... Members of the group remain scattered through both societies and have aided in Balance's training and development. It is highly likely that Balance is not a 100% natural born. The group saw him mostly as a potential figurehead for inter-species acceptance... That changed when the group was scattered... Now Balance doesn't really have a specific purpose in the group's eyes, but they created him so they will support him. Balance, himself, would like to see peace, but he doesn't think it'll happen any time soon... so he acts as something of a promise of what may someday be.

Attitude: Even keeled and prone to taking a long pause before he says anything. Is very direct in what he says and avoids misleading words... he does, however have a way to make even direct speech sound beautiful.. even poetic. Balance feels that the only way to move is forward and that there is no such thing as bad progress.

Interaction: Balance isn’t a great fighter… more of a survivor. Despite all of his cool stuff, he doesn’t tend to use it… sort of like owning a gun at home.. it’s there if you need it.. but you usually don’t.

*Loki stands in front of the stranger and pulls out a bandage and wraps it around his wounded leg. Then applies antibiotic to his wound on his back. Then finally grabs the strangers arm and puts it around his shoulder and continues walking towards the town.*

Obsidian jumped of the mans shoulder. He landed awkwardly but kept his balance. he turned around to face the man.

"I'm Obsidian." He said happily

He walked up to Loki and they continued walking.

*Loki stared at him without emotion, how he usually is*

"your pretty fast, i envy you."

*smirks*

"hmm...your also Sulairian.... what power type are u?"

"Well i'm a dark type" Obsidian said

"Well i've been tested to see how fast I actually am. The test showed i can run uup to 60 miles per hour at a constant. In short bursts 120 MPH. I can also use my energy and burt at the enemy at super sonic speeds" Obsidian said

They were now coming very close to the town

"impressive."

* They reach the citys gates.*

"what is ur business here in this town?"

*then looks at his wound*

"Do u need to be taken to a doctor?"

Obsidian stepped inside the town and looked around. this would only be the second time he has been in an Insomnian town. he knew as long as he didn't use and energy or if someone didn't recognize him know one whould be able to tell he is Sulairian.

"Invesitagatin the MOnster attacks, from what i just experianced they just come out of no where

"Do you keep records of the monster attacks?" Obsidian asked

"hmm.... they should have records at the government building. I'm comming with you."

*Loki points in the direction they need to go in.*

"follow me."

Obsidian followed Loki down the street. Obsidian looked around the town everyone seemed to be in a good mood. The night had set in. The government building was now visible.

"just don't tell them I'm sularian"Obsidian whisperd to Loki

Obsidian clicked a small button on his arm and his claws dissapeard.

"no problem. Just make sure u don't go off running anywhere"

*they stood infront of the building and entered it. They were in the lobby and there was a reception desk. They walked up to it. In plain sight was a computer.*

"please state your business."

"we wish to see the record of the moster attacks."

"Error. those records are only to be seen by those of high clearance, and cannot be viewed through this unit."

*loki turns around and faces obsidian*

"well.... it looks like we might need to GET clearance eh?" *smirks*

"how do u want to go about this?"

Obsidian smirked

"Watch this" Obsidian said

he walked up to the computer and pressed a few keys. then he placed a little box on the screen. The door unlocked.

"these computer are very easy to hack into, i probably couldn't do that on a Sularian moddle."Obsidian said quietly

"ok then, since u hacked the computer, find the records. And make sure no one traces ur hack, if not, we can be imprisoned. what we're doing now isn't quite legal...."

*Loki turned to take a look around. A guard looked suspiciously at them*

"hurry up, theres a guard watching us."

"HA! you seriosly think there gonna be able to trace my hacks... don't worry about it."Obsidian said.

he took the little box off the screen. and put it in his pocket. the guard did not hear what he said. he closed out of the computer. and walked out of the building.

"Thanks i found what i was lookin for" He said to the guard

*Loki walks up next to him*

"so what exactly WERE you looking for?"

"got exactaly what i wanted, the Records of the monsters attacks. on this little box." Obsidian said.

he flicked open a cell phone sized computer and put the litte box into a hole on the bottum of it. the records appeard on the screen. He read through them.

"... they show no pattern" Obsidian said dissappointed

*Loki shrugs*

"you expected the monsters to have a pattern and be organized? They only know one thing. And that is to kill and feed. I seriously doubt they have some mastermind behind it, or that they're part of some conclave. They just seem to come out of nowhere."

*They walked out of the building just randomly walking down the street.*

"the strange thing is, they just appear out of nowhere. a patter usually shows up in certain places if that where there appearing. and by no patter i meant the wound wern the same each time. the ones that attack us had talons, some of these show burns, wounds delt by a blunt object, other show sign of eletracution." Obsidian said to loki.

They continue down the street

"do you know anyone who got attacked?" Obsidian asked Loki

"thats interesting....."

*loki considered his question.*

"oh, i know! The hospital. its always fulled with people who were attacked. However, i don't think they want to talk about their traumatizing moment. We can still try."

*Loki turns the corner and tells Obsidian to follow him.*

Obsidian figured not many peopel were gonna talk about the event. He followed Loki down a few streets. they came up on a big building obviously the Hospital. The walked into the hospital and the lady at the reception loked at them

"who are you here to see?" She said

"i'm a scientist investigating the Monster attacks, i need to see a survivor and ask a few questions" Obsidian said

"yes we're doing research on the monster attacks."

lady: well we just recieved a patient with burns across his body. Hes in the room down the hall, here i will take u to him, but u cannot stay for more than 5 min. he needs his rest.

"thats fine."

*the lady led Loki and Obsidian down the dark hallway till they reached a room. She opened the room and allowed both to enter. The patient was hooked up to respirator and the smell of ointment filled the air.*

~i guess they're treating the wounds with ointment. The smell is almost overwhelming.~

The lady opend the door and let Obsidian and Loki in. The man was burnt pretty bad. the burns were on his face and down his arm.

jwow those flames must have been pretty hot for those kind of burns

"excuse me sir, what exactaly where you when u got attacked?" Obsidian asked as he pulled out Pen and paper from his pocket.

"i was sitting under a tree, writing a novel" The man said

"and they just appeard?" Obsidian asked

"yeah pretty much they seemed to fade into my sight, the stopped attacking when i passed out a passerby said" the man said

hm... maybe they respond to movement or something

Description: He wears a Dark Blue Cloak to hide his identity to all whom he comes across; within the cloak, if he ever chooses to remove the cloak, he wears a black vest with some sort of Insomnian inscriptions written on it. His pants are of the dark color of blue as well.

Personality: He's a very dark person, thus, he posseses the energy of the dark. He's not very tolerant of conceited people, no matter what race, but despite that, he's very patient. He's easily angered by those who pick on the weak and ask too many questions about him, and he rarely smiles. He's always covering his face with his cloak to conceal his identity. He is not like most Sulairians for he is a very violent person when it comes to fighting. He fights mercilessly and will never hesitate to killing those he has to. Although he does fight mercilessly, he never fights dirty.

Weapon Description: A sword that has the same features and looks as a Ninja-to; he calls it Yoshiro, short for Yoshirotomitsu.

Fighting Skills/Abilities: He taps into his dark power and fuses it within the sword to heavily damage his enemies with dark energy. He's also very quick and accurate with his sword, rarely missing his target. His strength nearly matches that of an Insomnian because of the fact that he physically trains himself nonstop, he hates being distinguished by his race. He may be quick with his weapon and incredibly strong for his race, but he lacks speed in movement.

History: He comes from a warm Sulairian family in Taumi, which bored him to death. His father would always take him to go fishing and watch the clouds; something that Tenji hated the most. The odd thing is that all the ones in his family all have Light energy, he was the first to have the Dark energy in his family. Some of the relatives treated him badly, like he was a virus to the family, while his parents treated him like he was a "special" child who needs constant attention. When he became 176 years old, he decided that he did not want to be a Sulairian. He hated the fact that they were so warm-hearted and weak, while the Insomnians constantly harassed them during the war between the Sulairians and Insomnians in 1355. He pushed himself and heavily trained his body when he became 176, and until the age of 360, he is still doing so. He struggles to reach the strength of the Insomnians because he wants to be like them, not like a weak and trusting Sulairian. When he was 360 years old, he met with an Insomnian man who was picking on a Dark energy Sulairian; he was outraged. He used his Yoshiro sword--the sword he had secretly forged himself, Yoshirotomitsu--fused with his powerful dark energy to rid of the Insomnian, saving the young Sulairian. Upon the death of the disparaging Insomnian, Tenji took all the valuable belongings of the corpse, the black vest with Insomnian inscriptions included. He struggles to reach the strength of the Insomnians because he wants to be like them, not like a weak and trusting Sulairian. When he reached the age of 417, he decided to leave Taumi and venture to the Insomnian city of Kira to learn more about Insomnians. He left without warning, not even a little note to his parents, for deep down inside, he knew that they could care less.
