World of Warcraft! I signed up for the beta, but then for some reason I couldn't log into the email I had to use to sign up with, so I can't check for my confirmation email! I love it because it rocks. :D They are just making the game so well ballanced instead of having it focused on just one thing.
Take a look at the new movie they put up. :D
http://www.blizzard.com/wow/movies/Ohhhhh man. That's just a preview for their cinematic, but holy cow.

Used to be a protoss pain in the ass til my comp started getting uber laggy...now I've moved on to FFXI >.>
FFXI is really good and addictive. I have 2 charries on 2 servers (thus the reason for 2) and partying up is well worth it :)

My soul is at least 34% owned by FFXI now. You can looke my up on Shiva server under this name. I'm a Mithra Thief.. Meow!

I always liked online games. I havent played any recently due to the really high costs now and the wide range of players.
Playing Swords of Chaos on a BBS with a couple hundred geeks (the kind that roll play and spend time actually maping the world) was fun. Now that the numbers been upped to thousands of people, the majority of which don't care about anything but powerleveling.. i just havent had interest recently.
The thing I miss about the old days of online games is that you had to interact with the other players to actually get anywhere. you had to roll play the world to move in it. Now, any info you need isnt gained through talking to others in game.. its found in various walkthroughs.
So yeah, ironically, the reason I don't play online RPGs anymore is because I get more story interaction with NPCs on my SNES than with real people online.
But if anyone has a good MUD to recomment me to, by all means go ahead. :D

oh oh oh! If oyu want a great MUD, try CheesyMud.com It is non-serious and funny.. btu the combat is awesome and all the Admins are good people. I used to be an Avatar (like 3 steps away from being immortal) but my charrie got nuked for inactivity.

FFXI player here. I've got two characters on the Fairy server, both named after my two main rp characters. It's the first MMORPG that I've played and I like it, can't wait for the new expansion to come out, it looks really pretty. :D

I play City of Heroes and in my opinion none of the MMORPG's I've played can touch it. The one's I've played are Everquest, Asheron's Call, Dark Age of Camelot, Anarchy Online, Earth and Beyond, and the beta you pay a monthly fee for Star Wars Galaxies.
The only one in my opinion that comes close to it is Earth and Beyond and even it's distant.

I'm not looking forward to the new expansion >_> i havent gotten to Jeuno yet and Squeenix wants more of my nonexistant money?

I'm currently addicted to Lineage 2.
Yes, yes, some may dislike it in its slow, repetitive exp grind, but the game isn't just about killing monsters and being able to say "LOL OMG I PWND YOU!! YOU SUXORZ!!", although many of the community within seem to have that mindset.
It's about adventure. It's about teamwork. It's about discovery.
The world is awesome. It looks great, and it's fun to explore.
The character designs are great. They look amazing.
..and that's all I can think of it right now due to...not...really thinking about it, so......Yes!
