:-:Seirei says nothing as they finally approach her house. Opens the door, pulling him inside, chuckling.. almost a little darkly.:-: Yes, well. I'm a big girl, Kai. I'm sure I can handle anything that Kon and the other Marines have to throw at me. You said you trusted me, so do it. :-:Winks. Lets go of his arm and then turns, wandering into the kitchen.:-: Close the door behind you, please!

*He closes the door behind him.* Aye, I guess yer right... ye can probably handle yerself around them better than I can. I get t' pissed off at them, Kon especially. *He followed her into the kitchen.*

Mm. I have infinite patience. And... if something DOES go wrong, you can protect me. :-:Turns back at him, smiling before checking the turkey she has in the oven. There are things cooking on the stove-top area... noodles, etc. And, there are bowls on the cupboards with dough for bread and pastries.:-: Mm. Nearly finished. Then, I can put the other stuff in. I'm going to stuff you like this turkey!

*He blushed more as she mentioned him protecting her.* I dun... really know how much I could protect ye thar... but I'll try. *He smiled shyly while eyeing the food and trying to keep himself from drooling, or running up and eating it all.*

Now, remember. No snacking until it's ALL done! :-:Waves a spatula at him, threateningly. As though she were wielding a sword.. seeming experienced at it.:-: I'm sure you'd do a fine job protecting me, but I seriously doubt a situation where that would be needed would arise. So don't think about it. :-:Pauses.. stirring some mystery stew in a pot, thinking. She needs to get close to him somehow. Bites her lip... before reaching to the counter, taking a single cookie from a plate.:-: ...Kai, you like these cookies, right? It's the last one, do you want to share?

Ok, I won' think about it t' much. *He then got a huge grin on his face. It was torture sitting here with food in front of him, but not able to eat. He was glad she was going to give him something.* Sure, I love cookies.

Alright then, Kai... open your mouth and close your eyes! Then, you'll get a pleasant surprise. :-:Laughs softly, stepping away from the counter and over toward Kai. Stands there, perhaps less than a half a foot in distance, tilting her head up a little, waiting for him to do as she says.:-:

*Kai grinned, just thinking of the cookie. He then closed his eyes and openned his mouth like she'd told him to do.*

:-:Seirei almost hesitates... before placing the cookie in her mouth, halfway. Then, she reaches up to take a gentle hold of his face before moving onto her toes to reach him, faces coming close until the other half of the cookie is in his mouth, lips perhaps brushing together once, briefly.:-:

*He bit down on the cookie, blushing as her hand touched his face and then even more as he felt something other than the cookie brush his lips. His eyes openned and looked down at her in some shock and surprise as he ate the cookie.*

:-:Chews almost thoughtfully on her half of the cookie while staring up at him. Swallows, and feeds him something else -- a bright smile. Turns, headed back toward the stove to watch what she's cooking, making sure it doesn't stay on the heat for too long.:-: Yum! Did you like it?

*Kai blushed a brighter red, not sure which she meant, the near kiss or the cookie. Though now that he thought about it, his answer was the same for both.* Um... it was good. I liked it. ^^

Good! I'm glad you did! :-:Stretches a bit, turning and walking to the kitchen table, hopping up onto it, sitting there. Crosses one leg over the other and stares up at the ceiling for no particular reason.:-: You may sit if you like. You don't have to stand... it'll be another little while before everything's finished. What do you want to do until then?

*Kai nodded and walked over to the table and sat down in a chair next to Seirei.* Well, I really dun know what t' d', ye have an suggestions?

Mm... :-:Turns toward Kai, letting her legs dangle over the edge of the table, one on either side of him as she seems to think.:-: Well. We could.. do what I just did. :-:Lowers her eyes, toying with a strand of hair, curling it around her finger.:-: Or we could just sit quietly for your food to finish cooking.

Eat a cookie? *He said jokingly, knowing what she'd meant and blushing again because of it.*
Well... I suppose... *Nervous*

:-:Raises her eyes... and shakes her head with a small smile.:-: No. No, you seem too nervous. It's alright, don't think about it. :-:Pokes his nose.. and then stretches, lying back on the flat surface of the table, finding her eyes glued to the ceiling once again.:-: Mm. A cookie would be nice, though.

*He rubbed the end of his nose and looked at her.* I'm not nervous, really. *Pretending not to be though he still was.*

:-:Sits up quickly, wavering a bit, placing a hand on her forehead. Head rush! She moved a bit too fast. Sifts her fingers through her hair and looks at Kai, staring at him for a few moments before speaking.:-: If you're not nervous, then YOU do it. :-:Almost taunting, thinking him to be QUITE nervous.. she can tell, though just a little.:-:

Me? But... *He trailed off, now thinking over his options. He could not do it and save himself from the nervousness he was going through, but then again, he didn't want to be shown up. To do it or not to? He bit at his lip, thinking. He then reached a hand forward and touched the side of her cheek, then leaned in and gave her a small peck on the lips. Blushing a very bright red afterwards.*

:-:Seirei tilts her head afterward, inspecting his face and the odd tone it has adopted.. and suddenly breaks into a fit of laughter.:-: Oh, you're so adorable! Like a little boy! How old are you anyway, Kai? :-:Grins.. and it almost seems sympathetic. Maybe a little condescending, even.:-: Hm?

*He would have blushed more from the laughter and comment made by her had it been possible.*

Ahh, no wonder! You *are* a little boy then, a year younger than I. I am 19, my birthday quickly approaching. Oh dear, how could I kiss a little boy..? :-:Laughs again, to herself, turning away... facing the rest of the kitchen, rather than him. Purposely goading him on. Flips her hair, almost haughtily.:-: I'm a little embarassed now.

I'm not a little boy... I'm not even little. *wanting to defend himself, but not wanting to be mean about it.* So ye dun need t' be embarrassed...

You are young in mind, spirit, and mannerisms... and those are really the three that count. I can't help but be embarassed, you may as well be an adolescent. Oh, dear. :-:Laughs, yet again, shaking her head.:-: I will have to remember that age and not do anything inappropriate you may lie about liking, as I just did a few moments ago. :-:Glances over at him, out of the corners of her eyes.:-:

I wasn' lying! *He continued to blush, but his voice became more forceful. He didn't like being laughed at or being called a kid.* Ye want me t' prove it? *He put his hand under her chin and pulled her face towards him and then kissed her lips, a much longer kiss this time.*

:-:Seirei has to supress a chuckle as he plays right into her hands. Speaking of her hands, they make their way to his face, holding gently, returning his kiss and holding it.. a single hand making its way back through his hair. ~This isn't too bad... so he doesn't enjoy taunting~ she thinks to herself, eyes slipping shut.:-:

*His face was still red and warm, hoping that Seirei couldn't feel it with her hand. He held the kiss for a little while longer then broke away, looking back at her quietly for her responce.*

:-:Seirei opens her eyes and stares back at him for a few moments, silently. Then, she moves forward, arms wrapping around his neck as she comes off of the table, standing.:-: ...not a little boy, then. Alright. :-:Gives him a peck on the cheek and then rests her chin on his shoulder, hand stroking his hair.:-:

*He wrapped his arms her and closed his eyes for a few moments, taking in her warm and softness. He got to enjoy this for a few moments untill a buzzer went off near the stove.* Er.. I think the food's done. ^^

:-:Jumps, blinking, pulled out of her thoughts as the buzzer goes off.:-: Whoa--!! ...has it been that long already? :-:Quietly, speaking to herself. Pats Kai's head before letting go and heading toward the stove, taking the pot off and putting it on a cold, unused burner, turning the buzzer off. Sighs gently, running her hand through her hair.:-:

*It wasn't untill now that Kai noticed how hungry he really was. His stomach grumbled loudly, loud enough for even Seirei to hear accross the room.* It's a good think it be done, I'm starving!

:-:Gives Kai a rather exasperated expression, shaking her head. Takes a bowl out of the cupboard and fills it for him, with the soup that just finished, taking it over to him with a spoon. Then, she goes and gets the pot, setting it on top of a potholder on the table, a ladle in it.:-: There. Meat's almost done, I swear. This is.. an appetizer, I suppose.

Aye! *Wide grin. He grabbed a spoon and started eating the soup at a very alarming rate. It was disappearing fast, hopefully the turkey would be done extremely soon.*

:-:The second he starts eating, Seirei pulls the turkey out of the oven and sets it on the counter. Suddenly feels a little lazy, she plops down on the floor, stretching a bit, with a yawn. Rubs her eyes.:-: Tired.. :-:Turns her head, deciding to watch Kai as he eats, for a few minutes.:-:

Yer tired already, it's not even that late out. *He said inbetween a few bites. He eyed the turkey, and ate faster, making room on the table for the turkey. She really was a good cook.*

Yeah, well... :-:Sighs gently, running a hand through her hair, thinking: ~Well I can't tell him I was up all night thinking about what to do with him today... how to take care of this situation. My assignment.~ Carves the turkey and puts most of the meat on a plate for him, putting bread on another plate on a table.:-: There. Sinec you're SO hungry.

'ank ye! *He said with a mouth full of food and a grin. He then started devouring the turkey. He finished that off quickly.* Ye have anything t' drink, all of this food is making me thirsty.

I have.... :-:Pauses. She has NO idea. Heads toward the ice box and takes a look inside, tilting her head.:-: Why is this in here..? Rum, rum... and more rum. :-:Wrinkles her nose, taking out a bottle.:-: This isn't supposed to be chilled, is it..?

I like rum. Er... an' no, it's not supposed t' be cold. *He eyed the rest of the turkey, but for once in a long while, he almost felt full, but not quite yet. What was left of the turkey was in danger of being sucked into the black hole that was Kai's stomach.*
