I've been playing SO2 all this time (taking my time doing it, too) ^^ and right now I'm going through those fortress places on the second CD (in the new world place.. At the Fortress of Love.. or.. 'ever it's called).

Anyway, this game rules XD glad A got it for me. :D So I'm making a thread where you talk about why you like SO2. Who's your fav charrie, what's your fav part? What was the most challanging part? Which charries do you like fighting with the most? ^^` who sounds the coolest to you. Have you collected all the voice clips? XD what's your fav skill? Do you have a favorite line? etcetcetc

:D Btw, so far I've only gone 1 way with the game. >> been using the hero guy, Leon, Rena, and been swapping the last charrie back and forth with who else I have. XD I'll add in more when I finally beat the game.

I need to find this game!!! I didn't get very far because I was borrowing it from a friend, and that was years ago... I can't even remember how far I managed to get... But with as far as I had gotten, my favorite charrie was Ashton. The arguments between him and the dragons were funny.

Star ocean 2 is one of my favorite games hand down, I've played a million times lol. I saw a commerical for it once that got me intrested and I rented it and fell in love, I bought it as soon as I could after it, I think it is an awesome game. The best character in the whole game is Dias, I mean come on now who else is cooler? He has teh coolest tech skills, the coolest weapons, the coolest name, and he even looks cool, hands down he's my favorite character. My favorite scene is kind of a spoiler for those that havent played that far so I wont really mention it right now, but there is just so much about star ocean 2 that is awesome that I think everone should play it! :D

Got it when it first came out.. And can't wait for the next SO game to come out (if it ever does =P). :D I beat it a while back, I think with Rena as the main character.

Favrouite character.. Hard to say, I really do like Dias Flac. But I also like..can't remember (gotta play it again obviously).. The one with books as weapons. n_n;;;
I still remember him saying "Black~ Saber!" (And Dias' "Chaos Sword" line).
I don't even really remember who all I had in my party most.. n.n lol

Opera was my favorite character I loved pairing her with Claude in the various Private actions throughout the game. I never did recruit ernest so that Opera and claude will always end up together at the end. She was just a great character on the team did a lot of damage with here Alpha beam skill.

I've personally beaten the game 8 times 4 times with Rena and 4 times with Claude to see the majority of endings. Paired up Ashton and Rena, Rena and Dias, Rena and Claude, Rena with Bowman.

Claude and Chisato, Claude and Celine, Claude and Opera, Claude and Precis.

Ashton and Priscilla pair and the Rena and Prince Chris endings too were unlocked.

As for my party I always went with the set up of 3 fighters and Rena the healer. The mages really never had a spot in my party
