Kon's Marine Base Island. (think like Capt. Smoker's base)

Before long the sky began to turn a light blue as the sun threatened to rise... Kon was still out there with her in his lap.

Worf had gone back to his quarters to think over what exactly to do about Kai. He felt compelled to help him as much as possible, and hated the fact that Kai had left him no choice but to go to Kon... With that, he got up and started his walk towards the courtyard.

*Kai was still sitting on the bench, waiting for Worf to show back up with Kon, so he could give him a piece of his mind. He looked up at the sky, the stars were slowly starting to disappear as the sky turned from black to a dark blue and continued to get lighter. Was that what was taking Worf and Kon so long? Were they waiting for daylight? Kai decided right then that if they weren't there before sun rise, he was going to hide for awhile.*

Worf finally made it out into the courtyard and saw Kon with Seirei i his lap. He resisted the urge to give any kind of odd look and instead saluted Kon. "Sir, Kai's refusing to accept the collar during the day, and goes into a shadow everytime I tried to catch him..." he said quietly.

"Hmmph, see now? Your trust was misplaced Worf... You're too soft...." Kon said and then lightly shook Seirei's shoulder.

"Yes sir, I won't be anymore..." Worf looked embarassed.

:-:Seirei's brow furrows and her eyes slowly flutter open. Blinks a few times, looking up at Kon and smiling slightly. Sits up straight, stretching just the slightest bit before noticing Worf, suddenly seeming a little embarassed.:-: Uh... good morning, Worf. :-:Seirei slides off of Kon's lap and sits there, huddling in his jacket still, nodding politely.:-:

"Good morning miss." Worf bowed a little.

"Ok Worf, you can go. We have much to discuss here." Kon said and Worf left the two alone.


"Guess what your sperm doner has done now?" Kon sounded kinda pissed off now.

:-:Seirei sighs, running her hands through her hair.:-: Do I really want to know, Kon? I thought pregnant women weren't supposed to have stress. Just... damnit. Tell me. Tell me what the idiot did now. Something to earn him even more punishment that I get to listen to him complain about, perhaps?

"Kind hearted Worf took an interest in Kai since they both have fruit powers and asked permission to train those powers." Kon paused before continuing. "I gave permission to take the collar off for 2hrs a day, but that idiot Kai won't put it back."

Oh, that's just ******ing IT!! :-:Seirei exclaims, standing up, slipping her arms into the sleeves of Kon's jacket, storming off. She moves right on into the building, through the halls and then out toward the training grounds where Kai is, busting right on out there.:-:

Kon chuckled to himself. "This should be interesting..." he muttered and stretched his arms before getting up. With that, he walked through the building and made his way to the roof overlooking the training grounds and proceeded to spy on the two.

*Kai looked down from the sky when he heard someone coming. He then noticed Seirei walking towards him, and instead of feeling the anger he'd felt earlier, he felt a feeling of dread. And on a side note, why was she wearing someone else's coat?* Seirei... what are you doing up?

:-:Seirei doesn't say anything at first. She would just stalk over toward him and reach to take the collar of his shirt, pulling her other fist back, then bringing it forward, aiming to try and connect with the left side of his face.:-: What the ****** is the matter with you, you IDIOT?!

*He rubbed the now sore left side of his face, but didn't make any attempts to fight back or even try to get away.* I'm not an idiot! I just don't want to wear that ****ing collar just so Kon can control me like some ****ing pet! *His eyes peered back at her's.*

Oh, you're not an idiot? You don't want the collar? So.. because you don't want the collar, you're just going to defy everyone, get hurt, maybe jailed or sent away. Leaving me alone with this baby. Yeah. Okay. No, that's not idiotic, Kai. That's not idiotic at all. You know, that's just so NOT idiotic, I think I'm just going to stand here and cry. :-:Smiles sweetly, an exasperated, angry few tears streaking down her cheeks.:-:

*He felt his anger starting to leave him again.* I don't want to leave you... and the baby alone, but I do want to have some freedoms myself. I don't believe Kon wants me to wear that collar to become stronger, he's manipulative like that, he just wants to use it to keep me here. I'm going to stay here, as long as you're here, so I don't need the collar on me.

Kai... you don't understand. Kon will do something terrible to you. He'll.. just. I-it's not... :-:She waves her arms around a little, trying to think of something to say, when she puts a hand on her stomach and slowly sits down.:-: Oh... wow. Heh. See, this'll happen when you don't behave. Stress... equals pain equals threat to baby.

*Kai sat down next to Seirei and wrapped an arm around her. He burried his face in her arm.* I'm sorry... I just don't get to have anything I want. Why is that? What did I do to deserve all of this? *Kai's voice was quiet and crackling a little. A few tears were soaked up by the coat around her arm.*

You took advantage of Worf. You know, I bet he is the one who convinced Kon to let you even have the collar off for any time at all. And... you've betrayed him. Betrayed him so terribly. He doesn't use the collar in the same ways that Kon does. Not at all. Worf is a good man, but now.. now you've just made him into someone who can't trust you. Who can't put any faith into you anymore. :-:Seirei sighs, turning her head up toward the sky, rolling her eyes.. very exasperated.:-:

*He lifted his head a little to look at her with red puffy eyes.* I didn't mean to do that to him, but.. how can I trust him? He works for Kon, so whatever he wants done is what Kon wants done. I just want something good to happen to me for once...

:-:Seirei's face goes dull for a moment... and then she frowns, pulling away from him.:-: ... I don't believe you. I just can't believe you. You're a terrible man. :-:Sniffs, wiping one of her eyes as she moves away even more, standing up.:-: Yeah. Nothing good has happened to you. Not a damn thing. No. I didn't come along. No, I'm not pregnant with you baby. No. NOTHING good has happened! Not a single GOOD thing!! ...you asshole. I don't want to see you. Stay the hell away from me... :-:Sneers a little, turning away from him, huddling a little more inside Kon's jacket again, leaving him there, heading back inside.:-:

Kon sat there, amazed by the guilt she laid on him. Truly, it seemed like there was nothing for him to do... For now... He just continued to watch.

*He hadn't realized what he'd said untill it was too late. He quickly got up and followed Seirei.* Wait! That's not what I meant! I just.... you're the only good thing that's happened to me lately, but even you act as if you hate me most of the time... I honestly don't know if you want me around or want me to get lost...

If I didn't want you around then why would I still be here?! Why the hell would I be here, Kai? Why..? Maybe YOU are the one who doesn't want ME around since I'm obviously not good enough for you. :-:Storms on down the hall, wiping her eyes, trying not to cry, but that isn't working out very well in her favor.:-:

Wait! *Without even thinking about it, the shadows beneither Seirei moved and shot out of the ground, grabbing one of her legs and causing her to fall to the ground. Kai's face turned pale, he was shocked at what he'd just done, not even having meant to do it. He quickly ran over to her.* Are you alright?! Please say you're alright!

:-:Seirei falls with a surprised gasp and lies there on the floor. Her tears are flowing freely now and she utters a soft sob, immediately scooting away from Kai as he comes toward her.:-: Get away from me!! Just stay away from me! :-:Covers her mouth, sniffling.. staying away from him. Her ankle got twisted a little, so it's sore.. not to mention her other hand is on her stomach.:-: Are you... you don't want this baby, do you? That's why you tripped me. I could lose it from a fall like that...!

That's not true. I just didn't want you to leave. I didn't even know how I did that. Please believe me, I'd never want to hurt you or the baby! *He looked as if he was going to cry again, just the way she was moving away from him and the fact that she got hurt and said he did it on purpose.*

....it was your power that did that. Your power that needs training but you're refusing the training because you're just being a stubborn ass! You're a hazard to everyone, Kai!! A walking disaster.. I don't want you near me. :-:Slowly manages to stand up again, using the wall for support. Shakes her foot a little, testing her ankle:-: Just go away..

Kon was lurking in the shadows not far in another hallway, not liking what he witnessed. Kai really was a dnager with untrained powers... But nevertheless he let Seirei be, but was ready to nail Kai if he did anything again.

That's what I've been telling them, is to train my powers, they didn't even let me untill this morning....blame them for my powers being so untrained, they're the ones who put a collar on me for months. *He walked over to her, even though she told him to go away.* I want to train my powers, that's why I want to keep the collar off. *He offered her a hand to help her walk.*

:-:Seirei shrinks away from his hand, limping a step or two away, cringing.:-: Don't touch me... Kai.. you're just looking around and blaming everyone else possible. You're blaming and accusing.. but you're not doing a single thing to remedy the situation, yourself. :-:Turns, stepping away, gasping softly again, moving down onto one knee, rubbing her ankle gently.:-: No one's fault but your own...

I don't see how getting a seastone collar slapped on me when I was just working as a blacksmith was my fault. If I'd had my powers that whole time... I would have been a lot stronger right now... *He reached down and picked her up, and started carrying her off down the hallway.*

H-hey!! :-:Seirei growls a little, kicking her feet a little, reaching to grab his face with a hand and squeeze, nails possibly digging into his skin a little.:-: Don't touch me!! Put me down before you trip yourself with one of your goddamn shadows and fall ON me! Put me DOWN! Now!

Calm down. *He cringed a little from where her nails were digging in.* I don't want you getting hurt anymore. I'm just going to take you to your room and leave, if you want me to.

I DON'T want your help, I DON'T want you touching me, I DON'T want you near me! Why can't you see that?! :-:Her voice cracks and her anger subsides as her tears begin to flow down her face again.:-: Just put me down... I can get to my room on my own. I don't care if I have to crawl, just as long as... as you stop hurting me. Just stop.. okay?

Enough was enough and Kon slipped out of the shadows, appearing directly in front of Kai. "What're you doing to one of my marines?" Kon asked, glaring at Kai.

Kon... :-:Seirei whines very lightly, lowering her head and buries her face in her hands, cheeks a little pink... so embarassed. She sits there unwillingly in Kai's arms still, shoulders shaking, having those little tear jolts running through her. She can't bring herself to say anything. Not wanting to sound like a blabbering, hormonal woman.:-:

*What she said hurt, his chest started aching. She really didn't want anything to do with him. He didn't want to let go of her, not when she was crying like this, but he also had to realize that he was the reason for her tears. He reluctantly set her down against the wall.* I was helping her to her room... *He shot glare at Kon, his eyes were a mix of anger, pain, and sadness.*

"Not from what I overheard..." Kon said, glaring still, and then looked over at Seirei. "What did you do to her?!"

:-:Seirei looks up at Kai, then over to Kon... and then hangs her head, saying nothing. Letting the two men solve this little problem. She's so tired... even still, and she's STARVING. Her ankle hurts, her stomach feels queasy. If she DID say something, it would most likely be very idiotic. Not intelligent at all, and she'd hate to seem that way. Idly wipes one of her eyes, tears still coming, but much slower.:-:

Something I didn't mean to do to her you asshole! *He stood up and faced Kon.* And what are you doing here anyway?! Don't you have other 'Marines', who's lives you can make misserable! Or am I the only one? *Like before, when he'd met Kon not long after getting his powers, shadows shot up from the ground and grabbed Kon's legs and even reaching far enough to grab his wrists and lower arms, though that far from the source, the shadows were weaker. Not to mention Kai was untrained and his powers already a bit tired out.*
