This is a thread to tell people when I box and unbox forums. Most of these will be anime forums.

By 'box' I mean I will hide the forum from the public. Though all threads in that forum remain alive and nothing is deleted.

Boxing and unboxing forums gives a good refreshing atmosphere to AR. So when something becomes stagnant (like an anime forum) it will be boxed up.

When do forums get unboxed? Forums will be unboxed on many different circumstances. The two I'm most familiar with at the moment considering Anime Forums are as follows:

1. Something new concerning that forums happens (a new series comes out, something big happens concerning that series)

2. Someone new joins that is big into that specific Forum. Which of course insures new threads or posts to liven the forum back up.

If I box an rp forum it's because the rp forum never really takes off or dies. The forum that's boxed may or may not be revived. And conditions upon revival will most likely happen when more people join.


How do you keep forums from being boxed up? Well, if you run out of things to post and topics to make, invite friends and people you know that are also big into that sorta thing.

Hey, I also decided to box up LodossWars cause, well, no real posts in it since it was made. ^^`

I boxed up a ton of anime forums (at least 5), and put in Samurai Champloo. Wanna encourage people to post in the Ah! My Goddess forum (that I brought back from the box) soon because the new tv series came out.
