Title: Kami-Sama's Favorite Threads
Description: Of Once In A While

This is the place to find Featured threads of the forum. I'll post 2 of them Every Once In A While And explain why they rule so.

How to get a thread featured.

Well, this is easy. Just post your coolest ideas. I will choose stuff depending on how indepth the topic goes. And how good the posting in it is. But also how thought provoking the idea is and/or how fun it is to discuss.

And the threads can be anywhere in the forum (with small exception to pure rp threads. I'll have to think through how I'd feature something in those). From The Cafe, to The Anime Forums, to even the Art Section.

XD So Have Fun, View the threads I feature.. =D And enjoy the cool feeling you get when I feature 1 of your threads XD

While I was looking through the forums and asking other members what threads they found a liking to, I kept coming across one specifically. First Crush by Meow Its Me is not your ordinary general thread. It's about the first boy or girl you fell in love with and why or how it turned out. In fact, the thread took a pretty interesting turn when half the people started listing cartoon and television characters as 'the first person to have a crush on'. It gives a whole new aspect to who you fall in love with first. Not only should you post who irl you had a burning crush on in Elementary school, but also what videogame/cartoon/or television character you also took a most uncomfortible liking to.

The second Kami-Sama Fav of this post has ultimately been chosen as Religion and Anime by Issue13. Recommended to me from Ragu, this thread goes into a very deep discussion about how religious folk view anime. Why are there Christian Anime Groups who are put on a straight line of what anime they should and shouldn't watch? Should anime be declared evil just because of its content? I've asked myself this some time before, but even so Issue would like to know people's specific views on one thing: "Can a person still be true to their faith and also watch or participate in a fantasy world that runs counter to their own belief system? Or should you limit your involvement in anime and gaming to only that which agrees with your personal set of ethics?"
