God, How do I give myself a custom title?
This is the biggest one. First - when you join - make 6 posts (please don't spam). Then go to My Controls --> Edit user profile. the first option on the right big part of the page should be 'custom title'. Take off Newbie and put in what you want.

Egads, I posted a link and it doesn't show up linkified in the post!
When you put a link in your post, make sure to put http:// infront of it. It doesn't automatically become a link if you don't.

People have sigpics in their sigs and I don't. >< How do I put up sigpics?
to put up a sig, put your pic on some website (that isnt' tripod or angelfire'). And use the link to that pic. Then use the [img] brackets to put the link directly into your sig. It should look like this (without the *'s in teh brackets) = [*img]http://www.sitewithpic.com/pic.jpg[/img*]

Browse doesn't work or isn't there! How will I post my artwork! I'm DOOMED!
For the art part of the forum we prefer people link us directly to the art from their own sites. However, don't link us to some hugeassed directory of pics less you want us to look at 1 pic specifically (ie, don't post your main DA page and expect us to look at all 200 pics in your gallery.. That's taking us off AR, isn't it?)

Just PM and ask. Making a second or third account will get it deleted. We know who you are...

Why AnimeRED? Why not AnimeBlue or AnimePlaide? Or how about AnimeBlack or AnimeSilver? You use those two colors on the site too, don't you?
lol. Because red is a cool color. Not to mention it has the least amount of letters. ^^ Well, between red, black, and silver anyway.

I made 2+ accts and the new ones were erased, what happened?!
It's mainly for simplicity reasons. You only need one account. The only use for a second account is for the rps and that's in special cases for plot (ie, a new evil villain). If you make more than one account for really no reason, I will delete all but your first account. If you're on the same computer and ip addy as someone else, you should really tell me so I don't get a misunderstanding over ip addies.

How do I change my account name?!
Very easily. PM me and ask politely. Making a new account souly for that purpose will end in displeasure.

My friend got banned and they are on the same comp as me, but I like your site. Can you unban them so I can continue posting?
This has a simple answer. Tough love. Don't let your friend use your computer if you know they'll screw things over. If they get banned, they were banned for a reason and by unbanning for your sake they will probably continue to post.

I want animated sigs, animated avatars, and animation up the wazoo! Can I?!
No, I believe that's against the rules. No animated sigs and very limited animation for avatars. If you do it once, I'll remove your animated pic and tell you so. If you do it more than once I'll give you a bloody warning. etc etc etc.

You say 'don't make pics such and such big because it will 'push the page''. What does 'pushing the page' mean?
You know how you enter this site and there's a slider bar with arrows on the right side of the site screen? Well 'pushing the page' means that the pic is big enough to make that scroll bar appear horizontally on the bottom of the browser. I found that makes me miserable. Anyway, that's what 'pushing the page' is.

Can I advertise all over your site to get people to come to mine? Pm them and advertise?! E-ml all your members to advertise?!?!
No. You will get a warning if any of you start that. There's a forum for ads and that's where ads go. No, don't flood that forum with one ad. Just.. No. Don't do it.

Screw this [code] button garbage, I want to type in html. How can I?
Yeah... If you put [dohtml] tags around the actual html, the html will show up. That way you can center stuff, be creative etc. However if you abuse this privilage I can take the dohtml tag away.
