This movie is flippin' scary, becuase the special effects are amazingly good. It's not a movie one would watch more than once or twice, but it's worth watching. You come out of the theater with the urge to start petitioning Congress and the White House to upgrade environmental laws so that the jet stream doesnt suddenly freeze and cause the equivalent of a nuclear winter.

When the wall of water came roaring through Manhattan, I got chills down my back, because first, the special effects are great and second, I walk the streets they showed. It was creepy seeing the place near your home so vividly destroyed on screen.

What did YOU think about the movie? :)

I have yet to see it, but that sot of thing has never prevented me from having an opinion in the past.... so...

This movie is a lot like a porn. Sure, it all looks like it could happen. The physics and angles all appear possible... you even get all excited while watching it. Thing is, though, that it would never happen in real life. It is bad science. Worrying that the jet stream is going to freeze because of this movie is like thinking that I could walkin into some lady's apratment and have the following occur:

Me: Hey, I'm here to clean the pool.
Barely Legal Girl 1: But I don't have a pool!
(enter her roommate, BLG2)
BLG1: Hi, I'm Kandy.
BLG2: And I'm Sindra, tee hee.
Music: Bow chicka wow wow...

and we all know what happens from there on out.

Anyway... I should go watch this movie. I'm sure I will like it.. just like porn.

=P Bah, Issue.. you think Everything's like porn. ;) probably do it to give you reasons to watch porn, I'm guessing.

And while movies aren't to be taken far too seriously (like how people said ThePassion was a work or art and how people who didn't watch it were marked of the devil XD), there's no excuse to let your imagination wander.

What if there was an apocolyptic end through nature? ^^` One can be skeptical til it happens, anyway.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but due to this review, Keer, I probably will =D

The part where the ice starts to form on the walls was well done. I was expecting them to leave New York on the ship and go to the South East coast of North America. Then when the father realized he wasn't there he would head south and look for him
