Title: The Matrix (may have spoilers)
Akisu - November 7, 2003 09:21 AM (GMT)
Who here has watched Matrix Revolutions? What did you think about it?
I really liked it, I think they ended the series quite well and didn't do something completely stupid like having him be in a second matrix or something like that.

Yes! Second matrix would be too origonal and expected. One of the great sucesses with matrix is that it kept suprising you. I just loved how they tied up the matrix and just, finished it. My favourites scene was the end fight. ^^ Seeing comercials or whatever of there even being rain in the movie struck me dumb. (in that scene I had my mouth open the whole time and couldn't move)

I havent seen it yet
but from what i hear its going to be awesome!
KrazyKelli - November 9, 2003 07:09 AM (GMT)
I just saw it
DUDE! That's a GREAT movie! It so wraps everything up and clintches it..
The only thing that irritated my was the constant strobbing of lights in that part where they were shooting the squids... Thought I was gunna suffer a seizure from it, I swear...
But yeah, the whole thing with Trinity and Neo fit. And was original XD and the new person playing hte Oracle sounds EXACTLY likethe last... that kicked my ass...
The only real real prob I had was that i kept laughing everytime Mr Smith said, "Mr Anderson" XD
Akisu - November 10, 2003 06:33 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I thought they found a good lady to play the oracle. Oh, and the guy who played Bane did a good job of sounding like Agent Smith. ^^
Btw, get the soundtrack when it comes out, it's really good. :)
KrazyKelli - November 10, 2003 06:56 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I liked the music of the matrix.. XD
Btw, is it me or does Morpheus' face look like spungecake? they did so many closeups of his face that I thought his face was full of craters.. =P
=D still a good movie.. XD I still can't get enough of "Mr Anderson!"
Akisu - November 11, 2003 10:17 PM (GMT)
I still like how Al pointed out when we went to the IMAX that you could see every crater in Morpheus' face. Then started commenting on how each of them were 30 feet wide. XD
Kakarrot-Sama - November 14, 2003 08:35 AM (GMT)
Yes i kinda noticed those craters too XD but the most surprising that of all was at the end of the fight between Neo and Smith. I really didn't except that to happen to Neo.
Oh yes the soundtrack is great I love the End credits them and the Neo and Smith fight Theme.
Akisu - November 14, 2003 10:52 AM (GMT)
Yes, end credits = good. *drool* I'd like to know what they're saying. My guess is that they're speaking in latin...
The whole soundtrack is good though. get it all! ^^

The guy who played Bane did TOO good a job at sounding like Smith, heh. I loved the final fight scene. I was wondering how they were going to make it original after the last two movies.. but they didn't even try. instead it reminded me of Dragon Ball Z with a bit of Evangelion thrown in for good measure- but in a good way. :)
I really liked how Smith practically went crazy at the end trying to comprehend Neo.

i must say, i really enjoyed this final chapter of the Matrix. i'm not a really big Matrix fan (i only watched the first one this past sprng for the first time), but it seems the producers really wanted to go out with a bang (no pun intended). i think what i liked most about this installment was that the majority of it focused outside of the Matrix rather than the Matrix itself (can we all say MACHINE-GUN MECHAS?!) but yah, i think i was always more intersted in the world outside of the Matrix, and curious as to what it actually looked like...
as for the ending, it felt kinda chopped off, but eh, i wouldn't know what else to expect. the last fight scene really was an awesome part of the movie though, they sure went all out with the bullet time, hehe. i think the only thing that annoys me is their script. i mean, i know they're trying to sound all mysterious, and maybe we're "supposed" to know what's going on, but yeh, scenes with lines like "you know what you want, and they know what you want, but is that what you really want? if it is what you want, do you really want to get what it is that you want?" yah, lines that like that, ermmm.....i'm not really good at word games -_-
all in all, i really enjoyed this film, and it has become my favorite of all Matrix films. i think it'll be awhile before i see something with as much action and complexity as this XD

I finally saw it. I still like the first one better. Trinity is the woman! I give all props and respect to her cause she rocked. Jada's character also rocked. She needed some major props for what she did in the movie and for Zion. I liked how even little insignificant people became so important in the last movie. That was great stuff. Hope is alive...now I just have to watch the animatrix and maybe play the game. ^_^
