Obsidian looked atthe man for a second and it clicked who is he. The man coverd Obsidian mouth as he was about to say his name. "Don't blow the coer just yet, all i have to do now get back the ground base unoticed... but with you hear that is gunna make this a bit diffacult." the man said. Obsidan nodded and thought for a moment. "i got it, how many guards here have actually seen me in person...?" Obsidian asked. "hmm only the head of them... and he is at the main HQ as of this moment reporting Ruby's and Emerald's break in," The man said. "Put me in cuffs and call me a look a like wanna be, then my to the base. But, say to the people a t the front desk your taking me to the holding cells at the HQ for questioning." Obsidian ended with a slight laugh. The man looked at him and smirked. He quickly did as Obsidian had recomended and they were out the front door. about 500 meters from the Genetics Building he released Obsidian from the cuffs and threw them into a different alleyway. They made their way back to the base and enterd knwoing no one was watching. Obsidian immidiatly turned around and asked, "so what the hell has been going on Opal?" Opal sat down and gestured for Obsidian to do the same. Opal said, "just a very longer term job" He finished with a smile.

For about 11 hours the man bored Emerald and Ruby with crap they mostly already knew, near the end he started explaing Opals long term mission, and that is what kept Emerald from leaveing. She knew Ruby was probably abou to rip this guy to shreds, she gigged at the though of her hauling away ond punching him

Natsume woke up some time ago in a holding cell. The back of her shirt was torn from the rapid growth of white leatherly wings. Her eyes glow fircely white with barely a touch of purple. She sat calmly as if she didn't have a care in the world thinking, My energy has risen. And by a lot. I guess its time to get out of here. She stood up and walked up to the door. Natsume put her hand up to the door as a white sheild form in front of her hand. She force her way out using the sheild as a ram.

Ruby was quite glad at that point that she had made herself comfortable in the chair. For the first 4 hours of it all, she did want to rip the guy to shreds. She was glaring and was tempted to use her Insomnian powers to make him die a slow and painful death. But after that, she gave up and had actually started falling asleep in the chair. At the first mention of Opal, however, she sat up and was paying attention to the guy again.

By now she had started to get really bored in her little hiding area. I wounder if they are even comming back....I'll wait a little longer. It was hard to keep her mind from wandering since there was nothing really keeping her attention. God this is boring She sighs lightly trying not to fall asleep.

Obsidian looked at him with a questioned face, "what the hell do u mean my long term... that was like a complete secrecy thing... how sensitive was your mission?" Obsidian asked. Opal looked at him with a perfectaly strait face, "well if anyword got out about the mission the entire cover would have been blown in minutes" Opal said. Obsidian was dissatisfied with the answer but, he was telling the truth. "Well maybe you should inform the rest of the group that ur back.... i mean little bit assinign to keep them in the dark." Obsidian said. Obsidians hud comp suddenly turned on... a message sent from a man named "Blank," it aked for help because he hadn't herd from Natsume in a while after he had checked in on her. Obsidian was curious as to how this man had gotten his Hud ID. He figured he had sent a message through to the RoS and Diamnd handed it out to him but, that was not a big concern. He sent a message back saying, "Natsume will be fine, chances are the Scientists will let her go."

The man finished up with saying the main part of Opal's mission which was to get as much information as possible about the Governments future plans and ideas. Emerald looked at the man almost alseep, "Can we go now?" she asked polightly. She looked at Ruby obviously was thinking the same thing aside from wanting to shove this guy through a wall.

Natsume walked down the halls while hiding around the corners to keep out of view. The front door was out. She couldn't excape from that direction.. Her hub comp came on and Blank said, "Natsume are you okay?!"

"Not so loud. Yeah I'm okay except for the wings." She replied.

"Hold on, I'll get a fix on your location and take you back to base."

"Base? What base." He left before he could answer her question. Natsume waited right where she was, Blank would find her easy that was. Within a few mins Blank arrived.

"Natsume, this way." Blank left and Natsume followed. He led her through this way and that, taking one turn after another. Soon they were on the streets, taking one ally after another untill they reach a mansion. He walked up to a back door and knock twice, stop, then knock again twice more quickly than before. Some one open up and looked around to see fi they been followed. He then let the two of them in.

Ruby looked over at the guy. "Seriously... You done with us yet?" she muttered softly under her breath. "...Don't need you to talk my ears off anymore..." She stood up from the chair and stretched, glaring slightly at the guy, making it rather clear she didn't want to be there anymore. If he kept them there any longer, she didn't care if he was on the same side at them, he was gonna lose a few body parts and a lot of blood.

Obsidian Stood up and streatched and said, "I'm gunna go out and look for Ruby and Emerald." Opal nodded. Obsidian left the lobby and stepped into the streets. The sun was going down now roughly 15:30PM (OOC: 36 hour days) Obsidian knew that i fthey were held up that long Ruby was a bomb ticking with just a few seconds left til detination. Obsidian turned on his Hud comp and pin pointed her location. as well as Emeralds. He moved quickly there taking about 10 seconds((OOC: for those who don't know Obsidian is über fast)). Obsidian knocked on the door. The skronn butler answerd to door again with an annoying, "Hello?" Obsidian looked at him with a stern face. "Are my friends here with you?" Obsidian asked. The bulter nodded and showed Obsidian to the room. He quickly turned to Ruby and said, "you'll never guess who showed up..." The man who was lecturing Ruby and Emeral;d tirned to Obsidian and said, "a i can fill you in t..." Emerald cut him off. "I'm pretty sure Obsidian will figure it out from us soon enough" She ended with a nervous smile.

Here you go Natsume," Black said as he pass a white shirt and pants to Natsume. "You can dress in that room."

Natsume went into the room and exchanged her torn shirt for the clean one. When she was done she walked out and looked at Blank. "You have some explaining to do."

"Sure sure. You must be hungry after all you went through." Blanksaid as he led the was to as different part of the mansion and stop. He looked into a room and stood there for some time. Natsume went around him to see what he was looking at for so long and saw them.

Ruby was glaring daggers at the man, almost about ready to attack him when Obsidian showed up. The minute Obsidian walked in, she turned to face him, her eyes glowing faintly from her annoyance with the guy. "We're leaving... Now." She walks past Obsidian, then uses her Insomnian powers to send him a little telepathic message. "If we don't leave now, I'm not only gonna kill that asshole, I'll come after you too."

"What are you guys doing here?" Natsume said with her hands on her hips. She was standing in the door way with Blank almost hidden by her out strech white wings.

"Boss, whats going on here?" Blank asked tje man that the two were talking to. He walked in around her wings and sat down at on e of the chairs in the room.

Natsume followed him and sat down at one of the others chairs, looking at all of them.

The first hing OBsidian notes about the persons who enterd the room was the girl he had seen befor, natsume. She had changed. the operation had left her with wings and her aura was glowing very brightly. "Hello Natsume, glad to se your okay" Obsidian said kindly. Obsidian was itching to leave for his own health. He turned to the man who enterd the room. "yeah... were gunna be leaving now. If you want to conteact us i'm guessing you know where our ground base is." Obsidian turned on his hud computer and made notes of this resitance group. Obsidian smiled and looked at the man who had just be referd to as "boss." "bug me on my Hud computer if you need any help," Obsidian said. Emerald smiled learning the fact that she was finally gonna get out of the building. Obsidian left the building knowing he was gunna get a call from one of them shortly after he reached the ground base.

"That jerk." Natsume laid bak her head with her eyes close. Natsume laid there quiet while things got busy around her. The "boss" went to look into the file as Blank went to the kitchen. While they were gone, Natsume thought, That jerk, over and over again. Very soon after everyone but Natsume left, Blank came back with a tray full of food and put it in front of her on the coffe table.

"You must be hungry after what happen to you." Blank said kindly. When Natsume didn't reply he added, "are you asleep?"

"No, I'm not to both of your questions." Her stomach growled as she tried to keep a straight face.

"Yeah, yeah. You should eat." Blank went back to the kitchen as Natsume stare at the food trying to remember what to do with it and ate.

Ruby gave a rather pleasant sigh of relief when they left the building. "Finally...!" She looked over at Emerald and pointed at Obsidian. "It took HIM showing up at that damn place to get us out of there... That guy does not know when to shut up...!" She followed them back to the base. "Next time we get ANYthing from him, I'm not helping. I'd rather be partnered with Onyx before I work for him again..." And that was saying a lot, considering that Onyx was the only person that Ruby was scared to death of.

Obsidian chuckled at the re-mark knowing what she was saying, Emerald just smiled. Obsidian lead them Casually to the base knowing there wasn't likley any danger in the area. As they made their way back into the alley Obsidian had started to think what their first re-action to Opal was gunna be. He thought for a moment then opend the door quicky like usually and greeted OPal on sight with a pleasent "Hello"

Ruby looked up and stopped when she saw Opal. "...What the...?" She blinked slightly before she looked over at Obsidian and pointing to Opal, obviously in a bit of shock. In fact, she was so surprised to see Opal, she was pretty much speechless. It took her a few moments for her to finally come out of shock and say something. "What's the old man doing here...?"

Obsidian sat in a chair opposite to the one Opal is sitting in. Then looked at Ruby and said, "Long term undocover mission..." Obsidian was cut off with Opal saying to Ruby, " What a nice way to greet some one u haven't seen in a few years," Opal ended with a chuckle. Opal Stood up and streatched out a bit, "Its noice to know nothing has changed scince I left though," Opal said calmly

What am I going to do? Natsume wonder as she finished eating. Getting up Natsume walked over to a window and looked out. The greenary out there looked wonderful after the time taht she had spent in wish be dead pain. She turned her back on the window and wiped the tear forming in the crest of her eye. Moving her wings a little she wince. the musle in her back weren't that strong yet and it will take a while to get use to them.

Obsidian was calm again for some odd reason. It had been a long time scince he could feel safe in this world. Obsidian then looked at Opal with a questioned look on his face.
"What now?"
Obsidain asked mainly wondering what was oing to happen next. Opal usually always has spmething planned and this time was no exception.
"Well I was poking around some highly secretive files. The Government has a few discusting and imoral plans. The ones that pop out the most are the Super Soldier, advanced genetic engineering, and something called 'The Neo Genocide.' All of these bother me in thier onw lottle ways. From the information i gather the only one that the name has anything to do with the real plan is the 'Super Soldier,' their storing this experiment in Kira, for what ever reason. We can the experiment out of ther easily because in a day or so there gonna send out a search party for one of their diplomats. Heh, looks like another one got locked away... it was Rate, the only one that surved that genocide. If you remeber that shocker report."
Obsidian blinked twice at all the information he just took in. Opal smiled at Obsidain. Obsidian was confused but it hit him that their gonna have to stop multiple things.
Obsidian said, "The Neo Genocide.... I don't like the sounds of that at all.... its almost sickening... I hope the tittle has nothing to do with what is seems"

There was a chill in the air, yet the sky was clear of clouds-to allow the moonlight to shine down. Blowing wind carried the scent of burning logs for miles-the smell reminded one of seasons of multicolored leaves and ash-grey tree limbs.
Moon sat ontop of a nearby roof, her tan colored wings swaying slightly in the breeze. Other late walkers noticed her yet paid no mind, She was always seen on rooftops or other high roosts. Not only beacause of the wind-she just loved to be up high. Her golden eyes wandered the sky-it was such a beautiful night. She loved the cold, the wind, and the night-for day brought burning sunlight. It sent her beauty into dissarray, her silver hair would reflect and hurt other's eyes and her wings became dry and brittle in the lit hours. A soft sigh escaped her lips-sending her foggy breath to cloud the air for a breif moment.
Deciding it was about time to leave she stood and spread her wings, ready to drift down to steady ground. One last glance at the darkend sky, glittered with stars and then she would be off.
Her landing was light as ever, the wind guiding her to the ground gently. She had landed a few blocks away from where she was before, a smile lit up on her face and she walked casually down the street-silver strands stretching over her back and swaying back and forth as she walked.

Opal smiled at Obsidian as he thought of who to take on his little rogue mission against the government. Of coarse ombisidan knew as he preped up to go. Opal just laughed as he followed Obsidain out into the alley way. They peered around for anyone who might have seen them but like always no one did. Obsidian and Opal walked into the street with plans to walk to Kira as at their speed would anly take about 29 hours. The cold breeze made Obsidian shiver a little as the smell of dying leaves filles the air. A calm serene felin ran through the both of them. It was the time of year things started going into winter. The could both see thier breaths but they seemed not to be cold. The street was almost empty accfept for the fellow night walkers.
Moving towards the exit of the town they started to pick thier pace upa bit not wanting to miss thier chance of cover. So the went into a steady Jog. This was a lot easier for Obsidian then Opal, For about 10- minutes they jogged and Opal started to wind because he hadn't been in that well of shape for a while.

After a few moments of walking, she grew bored with the still ground and Her feet were a bit chilled from the cold. It was then, in the middle of the street-that she decided to take flight again. A few night walkers yelling at her as she took off, she just smiled and flew with the wind. Not caring where she may be going or why just the feeling of flying pleased her. The city underneath her started to disappear and soon she was flying over a grass covered plain with a dust road leading to another inhabited city. As she was watching the ground, somthing caught her eye-it was a bit hidden but she saw 2 men together jogging. It seemed a bit strange that someone would make a journey to another city at night so she decided to follow them-not really caring if she was caught she only wanted to know where they were going. Perhaps more exciting things awaited her there. Moving a bit higher and out of sight she continued to follow them, soaring over the light of the moon-casting a slight shadow on the ground.

Obsidian stopped for opal with a smirk on his face. The fact that he was winded was pretty funny to Obsidian becuase, Opal is just hat much strong than him and seeing him winded is just amusing. Noticing a female in flight they turned around to get a look at her. With wings and a light build; Neither of them could see her energy aura. They both kinda shrugged her of as They decided to walk for a while. The abandond city they were in was an ex suburb... well what was left of it , It was a pretty ghastly place; as ghastl yas a Sulairian city can get for the most part. Obsidian knew what happend here and he never liked to remeber back on that time. This deytroyed part of the city was always veiwed as a horrid reminder of what happend. Obsidian startet to shiver with some horrific memories.

Soon Moon grew tired of flying her wings giving in. They were already over a abandoned city yet She had to land. Feeling herself slowly falling lower and lower she stopped herself and gently floated to the ground. Landing with a plop right infront of the two men- Feeling nearly faint she looked up at them and attempted to stand-yet when stood she swayed and ended up back on the ground. "darn.." Sighing she layed back, "I'm sorry i followed you two...you see i have nothing else to do at night. I just wander around randomly-night suits me better than day anyway.." Her voice trailed off and she felt the world fade into a misty haze-she was unconsious. Thought even in her rest, she worried about making herself a burden to the two men. For it was clear now who they were.

Blank knocked on the door and entered the room with an evenlope in his hand. "Natusme, there is a letter that came into the the Job hunting agency, for you. It's from someone named Kakurine Rune. Kinda strange for you two to have simalar last name, Rune and Ruse." Blank laugh at his joke and handed the letter to her. Natsume tooked the letter and opened it.

Dear Cousin Natsume,

I know that you do not know me. Our familes have not been keeping in touch with each other for a few centeries. My named is Kakurine Rune. I am the last survieing one of my family from the other side of the ocean. If you do not remember, look at our family crest. (below is a drawing of the crest) You should have a simiar crest in the form of a pendent that is given to oour line at birth.

I wish to say that I am no longer on the other side of the world and i have come to live near the rest of my family, meaning you dear cousin. If it is permetted. From the arrival of this letter I should be landing soon and will reach your city within a week. I hope that I am not intruding on anything.

"i have a cousin from the other side of the world?" Natusme asked herself then looked at the picture. "Now that someone mentions it, I do have a pendent like that."

Obsidian Looked at the fainted girl and kinda wonderd why this stuff always happens to him. Opal picked her up and turned towards Obsidian.
"I guess were gonna be a bit late, you kno9w we can't just leave he rhear."
Obsidian nodded in agreement with what Opal said. Opal Carried her to a less conspicuos location then the middle of a street. He set her down gentaly and then sat down to wait for her to come to. OBsidian stayed a look out for agents, and other people that ,ay be pf threat.

It was about an hour later that Moon woke up. Slowly she sat up and yawned then looked at the other two, one on watch and another waiting for her awakening. With one quick stretch Moon was on her feet. She had no idea what to say to the two, Only a low drawn out, "im sorry.." She did feel bad for delaying them, both were considered important people-and for them to be out this late, it must me some sort of mission. "i...didn't delay you did i?"

"Blank, I'm leaving. i need to pick somethings up from my home." Natsume didn't even wait for a respond. She left out the back door and walked home with no trouble. when she reached home, she walked in the door and went straight to a box that was placed on her dresser. Natsume used a key to open the small book to reveal some jewlary that she hardly wore. She picked through them untill she found a small pendent with the same family crest as the one in the letter. "i thought i was the only one left in the family.' she placed the pendent around her neck and went around her small apartment to gather some things. once she done that she left the city with pack full of things that she needed to travel. she thought to herself, i'm not trusting my wings just yet. With that in mind she left the city towards a port that was a few days from Kira.

Opal nodded at her appology then smiled.
"its no big deal, you haven't delayed us. Its more important we take care of people who are hurt. What happend to you anyways?"
Obsidian then stepped over to her to see if she was badly wounded, which she wasn't. Obsidian herd foot steps off in the distance and went back to keeping an eye out for threats.

Moon nervously fixed her clothing to where it wasn't showing much clevage then turned to him, smiling slightly. "i was just flying around and i became extremely tired...ah.....i was sort of following you two..... er....i dont see or talk to many people out here and i just wanted to see where you two were going.." She looked over to the alert and ever watching Obsidian then back at Opal, "s..sorry."

Opal had no idea why she appologized again. He than put his hand on the right side of her face and looked at her with sincerity.
"heh, its okay... its better when people tag along with us anyways"
Obsidian then turned around with a puzzled look on his face. He knew he was hitting on her he then smirked and went back to what he was doing. Opal always took advantage of these situations and Obsidian had gotten used to it. He was wondering how she was going to react.

Moon blinked a moment slightly confused, Her cheeks quickly shifted color-from a pale peach to a blushing red. "ah..." Moving back just a bit she turned away from Opal then stood up, turning around-her back to them, and continuing to fix her loose hanging 'clothing'. She quickly adjusted the top a bit more then fixed her bottoms. She was blushing even as she was fixing her clothing, Opal had to of been much older than she was but any man could have an affect on her. After straightening up a bit she turned back around not exactly looking into Opal's eyes but still looking at him. "do you mind....if..um.. i travel with you two? i have nothing else to do really.."

Opal Looked at her and smiled brightly.
"It would be a pleasure to have you come a long with us"
Obsidian smiled at Opal's cliche approach knowing it wasn't gonna work. Obsidian was thinking even Opal knew it wasn't going to work.Obsidian came over to give his formal greetings to her. Obsidian gavea graceful bow.
"I'm Obsidian, its nice to see your okay"

Moon nervously smiled at Opal-he seemed odd to her, not much like an elder. "ah thank you!" Turning to Obsidian she smiled, approaching him as he rose from his bow, She then gave her own greeting. A simple kiss on both of his cheeks, Somebody had taught her this long ago-though she couldn't really remember who. It just seemed normal to her.

Obsidian blushed not used to such a friendly greeting. He enjoyed the positive attention though. he smiled as Opal gestured they leave. As they stepped out of the alley way Opal imedialty Jumped back dodging a blade with the Gov't's insignia on it. Opal quickly reacted by catching the blade with both his hands and ripping it out of the agents hand.
This was followed by Opal doing a roundhouse kick to the face which knocked the aged about 20 ft into a wall. Opal turned around and smiled like nothing had happend. Opal continued walking and Obsidian also acting as if nothing special happend followed.

By the time the blade was thrust out, Moon reacted on her own, jolting up into the air- a jump like jolt, Safely landing a few feet back. Th0ugh the attacker was easily brought down, Leaving Moon speechless. She just stared at the cracked wall, glancing back at Opal in awe. He was quite the 'pervert' though he was strong as hell. After a moment she follwed them, staying close to Obsidian-Feeling slightly nervous after the attack. Her wings settled down against her back, Obsidian must have been used to random attacks-it was as if he didn't care that somebody had just tried to kill them.

Opal nor Obsidian had even given thought how moon felt about he situation.
Opal then turned around and held her hand looked her in the eyes and said, "I'm sorry i've grown accostomed to attack i never asked if you were okay"
Obsidians eyes fell flat as he rolled them... Obsidian find what opal does comical sometimes others he finds it plain irritating. He didn't know weater to inter vine or just let him go.
"Hey Opal, i think your making her unconfertable..."
Opal just smiled and got embarrased beucsae he forgot about that too.
