It's a library, so there are a lot of books, naturally... It's rather small and a bit on the dusty side, considering not many people come there on a regular basis...

Kiyoi was sitting at one of the tables, looking over one of the books, mostly out of curiousity. She had come there to see if there was anything of real interest to her there, since libraries are supposed to have a large wealth of information.

In the dark most ungreatfully dreary corners worked a solitary, large figure. Most definately a man, his pleasent middle-aged face flickered under the dim candle light about him. His body was covered in that of a large, long tan cloak. And yet there was this strong smell of leather and ink about him. Or perhaps this was from the covers of a handful of books, if not the ink in them. Overall, though, this man most definately looked like an outsider of Edokyo - yet seemed to fit almost perfectly in this environment.

Back arched, Zatsu perched on a long ladder that adormed one of hte larger walled bookshelves of this very fine establishment. His eyes falling through a massive book that lay fragile under his more massive, leathergloved hands.

Overall, he was quiet. However, the books around his feet - stacked as if previously read or going to be at least - looked to detail not only the recent past of edokyo, but also a handful of novels over torture schemes and weapons.

Kiyoi sighed softly, stretching her arms. Her back and shoulders were getting sore from sitting and reading books for so long, which was evident by the few small piles of books sitting around her. She rubbed her shoulders and calmly gazed around the room she was currently in. Her eyes stopped when she saw the figure in the corner and she blinked in a bit of confusion. There wasn't anyone in the room when she first arrived and she didn't remember anyone coming in while she was there.

Ah yes, Zatsu was here quite a while. All day and last night, infact. There would've been evidence of him eating and drinking tea, but the server that came by earlier in the morning took the dishes back on her way out.

He knew that, presently, the only other person in the room was now watching him. There was times in life when you can train yourself to Feel someone's gaze even if all else is silent and secluded. One with claustrophobia wouldn't be able to pull it off, and that made Zatsu feel powerful.

Just to back up his performance of reading - now that he knew the girl saw him - he burst out with an, "AHA! So That's how it's done!" before going back into grand silence.

Kiyoi jumped in startled surprise at the man's outburst. She blinked slightly, then slowly stood up, knocking over a couple of books in the process. She cried out slightly and fell over, knocking a few more books over. That caused her to kinda curl up and cringe slightly at the noise she was making. "Ooops..."
