It is good. It is better than good. It is everything they promised and so much more. There was nearly a riot at the mall last night with everyone trying to get their copies.. and it was worth it.

Well, much as I like the game, I'm gonna have to dissagree with you on a couple points. Firstly... it ain't everything they promiced.

While it was an incredable game, I seem to remember being promiced human quads... the answer for the ghost. Also, I remember something about being able to hijack any vehicle...?

*sigh*

I was rather dissapointed when I couldent steal the covenent dropship...

Or the pelican...

... or that damnable rock in the middle of the level...

and when they... er... well... I can't really say that without spoiling a bit... so I won't.

Anyway, one hell of a game, but not all they promiced...

Furthermore, there's that rock in the middle of the level... that one multiplayer map I won't name... and it just PISSES ME OFF.

You can't hijack it.

You can't blow it up.

It hides snipers.

It keeps me from driving the tank through it.

... *sigh*

I wanted to crush snipers!

I thought the game was good. It has great multiplayer options and the customizing is incredable. Online play is amazing, and the stat tracking that Bungie is doing is pretty good (although it could be much, MUCH, better).I only have two problems with the game.

First, I hate the havoc engine. It sucks a big one. The first Halo's engine was a lot better. At least, in terms of gravity and weapon function. Graphicaly, the havoc engine is really good.

Second, I just don't like how slow it is. That's just my personal feeling, so it's no fault of the game's.I play a lot of other FPS, such as CounterStrike and Unreal Tournament 2004. These games are pretty much based on speed. Speed and strategy, but Halo 2 is big on strat too. But when you can actively dodge a rocket from a rocket launcher, it takes a lot of reaction and timing. It's a little harder to do with Halo.

Anyway, I'd still give the game two thumbs up, even though it's not my favorite.
