Clay's taking a break and we miss him loads so hopefully this will keep us afloat in this time of clack-drought.

This dramatic reading by GBB of the fanfiction originally written by Jude in CH. The story has been posted here in this thread. With GBB's fantastic southern accent...it's truly enjoyable to listen to. And I actually had a lump in my throat listening to Part3! :crying:

Part1 (About 6 minutes)
Part2 (6 minutes)
Part3 (11 minutes)

Just in.

Haven't take a listen to it yet. Apparently it's over 20mins long.

MP3 version (much much bigger file size than the above RM version) is available in the hub.

A (full) funny skit. Well, to me. Some fans might get upset though....so be wary.

The Leno clip is hilarious!

I find it *extremely* interesting that the Leno skit drew such polarising reactions. When it was shown on teevee, people on the US boards were weeping and gnashing their teeth over it, lamenting that Jay had betrayed Clay by making fun of him like that, and declaring that Jay was now officially on their "hate" list.

And yeah, the guy who did Dubya got the mannerisms downpat. Fake Clay paled (no pun intended) in comparison.

Claymatose - January 16, 2005 04:53 PM (GMT)
Honestly, a clip like this early on in my Clay fandom would ticked me off. But now? A skit is just a skit to me. You'll find it hilarious if you only choose to do so. Life is too short. Why worry about the little things in life? :P

Chipzclayz - January 17, 2005 06:24 AM (GMT)
oh my!!!! thanks claymatose!!! LOL

Andromeda_Aiken - January 20, 2005 04:16 PM (GMT)
The Clay person wasn't like him at all. Too fat. The Bush impersonation was excellent. The guy even looked the part!

I guess so. The file was huge, over 70MB. eta: Aflack has put up a temporary site here until her bandwidth is renewed.

ANYWAYS... some kinda, sorta Clack.

The Late Late Show did an AI4 skit. Showed the Anthony Fedorov (aka NotAClay) clip and a pretend judge who hates everything. Judge says "You remind me of Clay Aiken" and Anthony says "thank you so much" then the judge goes stark raving mad and says he doesn't like Clay Aiken. Then the camera goes back to Craig Ferguson (the host) and he says "How can you not like Clay Aiken?"

OMG, I cannot believe this. :lmao:

Simon Cowell and AI make-up artist Mezghan (yes *that* Mezghan) were interviewed on Fox News Arizona, talking about doing make-up for Clay and Ruben. Anyway, they showed a clip of early Clay dancing to Gloria Estefan. Yeah, you read that right. I uploaded the clip of Clayton doing the conga to our Yahoo! group.

:lmao:

Callisto, I specifically ask on EVERY PAGE of my website that you not hot link to my files, yet I see you have done it TWICE just on this page.

If you would like to download my files, please go through the main entry (which you can bookmark) and it will lead you to everything I offer. DO NOT POST ANY OTHER PAGE! DO NOT HOT LINK TO ANY FILES!

Please, I have been asking this for 2 years now. I would think that there would be someone on every board who knows that by now and that could tell others not to do it. I have some VERY good reasons.

Here is the page to go through: VIVAVOCE

Aflack has put up the latest montage for her RTI series. Run To Me.

http://www.streamload.com/aflack/index-3.html

And here's what she has to say about it,
" I've finished with the RTM montage. Now, before you go all apeshit on me...I want y'all to know that I only used one video. It may appear that I didn't do much to it, when in reality, this video took the longest out of all of them (about a month). I used ImAllEars's Atlanta video/audio, but when I first watched it on my teevee, it needed some stabilization. It's a GREAT video (*MUAH* to ImAllEars!!!), but the moving back and forth at times actually made my head hurt to watch on a 36" television. So, I spent a month going frame by frame, and there's like 10 thousand frames y'all, to stabilize it. It's a rough process (which ain't perfect), and without getting into it, there is one spot that for a second, the video comes down into the window, cutting off the top of his head. That's because in the original video, Clay's head actually leaves the shot...nothing I can do about that. The border serves a vital purpose, and again..this process isn't perfect, but IMO the end result is a little easier to watch on a large television - though I suppose some might debate that. Anyhow, the reason I'm telling you all is because I know a lot of you were probably going to expect more...but after spending so much time stabilizing that frame by frame, it just didn't make sense to fade into a two second shot that also isn't steady (and can't be repaired)...it didn't look even. There were less than a handful of useable other shots, and given that he only performed this song five times on the Indpendent Tour with limited clack, I did what I thought would look the best in the overall flow of the video. Anyway, I apologize in advance to those of you who will be disappointed. *sobs* The NAT provides much more to choose from...but personally, I think ImAllEars did a fantastic job representin' RTM for the IT."

Randy Jackson was on the Dennis Miller show on CNBC talking about - what else - AI4. Miller says he liked "Aiken" and that he seems like a "sweet guy" and "safe" for young girls. ;) Randy acknowledged that Clay has an enormous number of fans. I lurve how the talkshow hosts always seem to bring up the topic of Clay. ;)

Go HERE to download.

Btw, Dennis Miller (he's an Emmy winner) is shown on CNBC (SCV Ch 15) midnight on Sundays and Mondays (after SNL on Saturday and Sunday nights respectively).

Randy's copying Clay's wardrobe. <_<

<3 Jimmy.

luckycharm222 - March 9, 2005 11:31 PM (GMT)
Clay calls Randy to give his thoughts on AI4. So cute. Clay must also be asking Randy to tell Simon to stop comparing Anthony to him. Clay is Randy's dawg. It's nice to hear positive words about Clay.

Chipzclayz - March 10, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
transcript of the interview:

(Starting in middle of interview...)

Jimmy: Who do you think is gonna win the AI show?

Randy: I think that, I do believe that a boy's gonna win this year. I think it's a boys year to lose. I think it's a boys year to lose and I think the boys are better than the girls, and I've been saying that all along, but I think it's a boy's year to lose.

Jimmy: But it's International Women's day today. (crowd cheers)

Randy: It is?

Jimmy: Yeah, it is.

Randy: Oh man.

Jimmy: Which boy? Any boy in particular you like?

Randy: All the women are going wild, I love it.

Jimmy: That's my dawg pound. (LOL!)

Randy: That's your dawg pound. I like that, Jimmy's dawg pound. I don't know which boy, I don't know which boy, but I think it's gonna be a boy.

Jimmy: You think it's gonna be one of them. Are contestants allowed to come back again, like, could Clay Aiken come back and win again this year if he wanted to?

Randy:
No, but he called me the other day, though, man he's my dawg. Clay's one of the extended dawg family.

Jimmy: Now, when you say extended dawg family, now when you call everyone your dawg, isn't really no one your dawg?

Randy
: No, no, no, no, no. He's in the extended dawg family, him and Rube, man.

Jimmy:
Oh, him and Ruben are in the extended dawg family. What did Clay call you about?

Randy:
We were just chatting on the phone. I was talking to his manager about something and he was telling me his thoughts on who he thought might win.

Jimmy: Oh, really?

Randy: So, I said to him, Clay, I didn't know you were watching.

Jimmy: Uh, huh.

Randy: Ahhhhhhhhhh, of course he watches.

Jimmy:
Does he influence you in any way? You said, like Clay's like the most successful guy to come out of there, right?

Randy: Wellllll, he's probably neck and neck up there with Kelly, you know what I mean, they're running neck and neck. (crowd cheers)

Randy: I love this audience, Dude, this is a hot crowd.

Jimmy: So, to summarize, you got this voice coach thing goin' on to help people sing better, you have this foundation to get kids thinner, and Clay Aiken as your dawg.

Randy: (laughs)I like how you strung all that together, dude.

Jimmy: There you go.

(Interview continues...almost over)

LOL!!
