| Sixty students from William E. DeLuca and the High School were privileged to sing with Clay Aiken at his Christmas Special at Madison Square Garden the evening of Dec. 9. According to Richard Gordon, the Principal of DeLuca who was instrumental in arranging the participation of NB students, it was a “magical experience they will never forget.” When students walked off the stage, they were heard making such statements as, “Nothing could ever be better than this”; “I feel like my heart is beating like a race car”; and “This is the greatest day of my life.” They were so thrilled to hear people cheering for them and were delighted when Clay Aiken spent so much time speaking with them. The experience was worth every second they had spent rehearsing with chorus teachers Christina Bonati and Gene Lamendola. |

Oooh I love these pics of Clay. Why doesn't our local magazines use pics like these? He looks absolutely handsome.
