Art, you had me worried for a little while, especially after our Ichiro/Beltran-Sosa/Magglio/Pavano deal, but in the end you were just another victim. :D


Now, time for the final roster of the winning team to takes its bow and prepare for next season when they repeat their championship with a completely different roster.

I'd like to give shout outs to some people who helped during the course of the season, but were either traded or released, or put on the DL and never returned-

Magglio Ordonez, Ichiro Suzuki, Carlos Beltran, Richard Hidalgo, Jermaine Dye, Jason Bay, Kaz Matsui, Joe Nathan, Placedo Polanco, Adam Dunn, uhh....that guy who closed for the Royals before getting hurt, Nate Robertson, and a few others that I've forgotten about, but that doesn't matter because they won't read this anyways!!

In league #1, my Good Catholics tied with SeldomSeen's Tangled Up In Blue. 8-8.....can you believe that? Co-Champs!

You still suck. Mainly because you knocked me out of the playoffs in that league. :lol: What was that score, 14-1 or something like that?

12-3 actually. What happened??? Where you not keeping up with your squad?

I haven't been on my computer much at all, really. I'm lucky I beat Chicken in the league 2 championship game....with Johan Santana sitting on the bench, Alou in instead of Hideki, Pavano also on the bench, etc. etc.

I've been away for a few reasons, my brother and his wife visiting, getting burnt out on the board after all the skin stuff I had been doing, fixing, updating, and all that, getting burnt out on baseball, and a few other things. I've been spending my free time doing some other things so I could come back to the board with a clearer mind and try to fix the rest of the stuff that needs to be done. I visited my favorite used video game store and traded all my games in for different ones, got caught up in a few RPG video games like Legaia 2 and dotHack/Infection. Also read a few books- The Long Walk by Stephen King, On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony(great book!), Teeth of the Tiger by Tom Clancy, Runaway Jury and The Partner by John Grisham. I've also been spending time with some of my dogs, getting them ready for a few shows they have coming up, and playfighting with the youngest one because it won't be long before she matures and becomes lazy like the rest of them.
