Title: Jose Macias back to Chicago?

SaltyCub - January 10, 2006 01:19 PM (GMT)
Jose Macias - 3B - Cubs

The White Sox are one of six teams interested in free agent Jose Macias, according to the Chicago Tribune.
We can only assume that the others are the Atlantic City Surf, the Bridgeport Bluefish, the Long Island Ducks, the Nashua Pride and the Somerset Patriots. The Newark Bears can do better. Jan. 10 - 2:45 am et

Leave it to Joser to become a Cub killer for the WSox.

The difference between Ozzie and Dusty regarding the Joser is that Ozzie will use Macias as what he is.........a 25th man on a roster not as the 1st guy off the bench ala Dusty. If the White Sox do sign Macias, it will be for cheap (probably minor league contract) and he wouldn't last the whole season on the roster.

Wait, you mean Ozzie wouldn't use him as the number 10 offensive force on the team? Williams wouldn't bring him back in year number two with a fat raise? How can the White Sox expect to compete with thinking like that?

No kidding. What's it been since the Sox won a title 70, 75,.............days? With that kind of incompetance Williams surely would have been fired already by the Tribune Company. :D
