I,ve got a babby fish I axadently got out a pond as an egg. Its a silvery gold coler, about 4 monthes old and about 1.25 inches long. it mainly stays around the botem of the tank and occasionally nibles at a plant,hornwart. I fink its a babby comen carp but Im not sure.

carp get huge! i think if it was 4 months old it would be bigger. post a pic.

Do you know what species of fish were in the pond where you got the egg? It could be many kinds of fish. If it's a regular sort of ornamental pond, it's probably a goldfish. It could be a koi (carp) if those were in the pond.

i think its either a goldfish or carp.
