help!!!!!!!!!! wat type of water should i use in my fish tank? filter water? normal tape water? water from the hose? aaarrrrgggg! help!

Use water from the sink. You have to add stuff that will get rid of the chlorine and other things in the water. Also before adding fish the water should be tested.

Test your tap water for pH, hardness, and nitrate at the least. Also, find out if your water company uses chlorine or chloramine. If you can't find that out, add a dechlorinator that says it works for both to your water when doing water changes and additions. If your water is not appropriate for the fish species that you want to have, then you should consider other kinds of fish or getting a water purifier or reverse osmosis system.
