We have a gray tree frog we brought from Michigan last year and would like to get another frog, maybe one a "little' more lively.
Can you suggest one that could live in the same home?
We live in rural Wyoming and there are no petstores. thanks laura

It would be best to keep the same species. It may be hard to find one for sale. You'd have to special order it from a collector or breeder. The laws vary state to state as far as the legality of possessing native species.

I don't know enough about the tree frogs commonly sold as pets to tell you if they are compatible with your gray tree frog.

green treefrogs are pretty much the same thing, they should be fine together. as far as being more active, good luck. most amhibians are pretty much eat, sleep, poop. none really do much. maybe aquatice frogs, but those are a completely different setup. plus, most ambhibians(probably 90-95%) are nocturnal, so they wont come out until night.
