this is my leos setup. that is a hide in warm end (right) and in the cool end. water bowl next to cool end hide box. next to that is a shed box. green calci-sand. by the way, it is a short 20long, 30" long, 12" wide, and about 5" high.

i have 1 leopard gecko and my bro has one take care of both!) they are about 30+ dollars, i got mine from a breeder for 50 each. reptileguy is yours a male or female? both of mine are males so they each have there own tanks.

Tim they should have a 10 gallon minimum, they need sand, a hiding place(hut, cave), water bowl, heat lamp, lightbulb, and crickets every week. they live for about 10-20 years and are great beginner reptiles. they also have lots of character, very fun to watch.

depending on your setup cost can vary a lot. an adult can be housed in a 10 gallon alone. they are handlable, but may not like it at first and need to be worked with at the beginning. a basic setup probably costs about $100, plus the gecko. maintenance is pretty much just crickets, mine eats about 3 dozen a week.

this one is a male, i have bred him, but he was the first leo i ever had, which got me more into reptiles, so he is the only one i kept.

i have 1 leopard in a 10 gallon and 1 in a 20 gallon. for 2 males they dont fight much, i say this because i seperated my 20 gallon once and put 1 on each side. mine climed over and both of them where just acting normal, kinda weird. they did show off to eachother before.

i have had the same thing with savanna monitors. i think if there is enough space, no food to fight over, no females to fight over, and no hiding spots to fight over, they can be tolerant of eachother.

savanna monitrors are pretty cool, i almost got one. There was only one hiding spot on each side of the didvided tank. My gecko was on the other side for an hour and i looked at the other one carefully and nobody was hurt.
