I have the story of the baby snapper I had over winter a few years ago at http://www.fishpondinfo.com/hatchling.htm along with care information.

What were the circumstances wherein you found/got the baby snapper you have? What was wrong with him?

I went to babysit a friend of my moms kids and since i have nursed other baby animals back to health and relesed them back into the wild they wanted me to take him. The children had been "playing" with him and the pla yhad resulted in injury, part of his tail is not their and he was covered in a nasty goo that made it hard for him to breath see or open his mouth. The turtle didnt seem to be doing that well, and i wouldnt have taken him if i hadnt thought he would die.

Just making sure, can you get a 75 gallon tank for a fullgrown snapper/
