Yesterday i found my 100 watt heater and a fluval filter from an old 10 gallon i used to have. are fluvals any good? i ask this because i was hoping to settup a 10 gallon nano or shell dweller breeder in a year or so(still reasearching!). the fluval is probably rated for a 5-15 gallon. are they better than aquaclears, and whispers?

i dont like to use canisters for anything, but if you already have it that is a little different. i would still rather use a whisper.

I've never had a Fluval so I can't comment on them.

well its not a can siter, its more of an intank type of thing.

if i ever settup a 10 gallon i would use my 5 gallons aquaclear and use the fluval for the 5 gallon. the heater is acctually a 50 watt.
