I was just wondering. Do any of u know why, my pet store, Petsmart, sells rodents. Well, they never sell male hamsters, or other male rodents too. I have no clue why. They could separate them from the females, but still they don't have them. Does that happen in any of your pet stores? <_<
i worked at petsmart for a while. some sell only males, others sell only females. it is mainly to keep people from mixing them up (employees or customers). it just makes it easier than trying to remember where you put the males, is yours at home a female, etc.
Oh, I see. That is easy to remember I guess, yeah. thanks
:D
I've never seen a store just selling one sex of rodents. If they did, it would make more sense to sell males as females are more prone to things like reproductive cancer and tend not to live as long as non-breeding males.
Oh. I never knew that about females. i see
