Hello.
My friend dog-sits a siberian husky for most of the year. The husky is about 13 years old and is realy cute. I was curious if anyone here knows why this happens. Well, my friend says that the dog vomits whenever she drinks ice water. Some dogs are fine with it, I guess some aren't?? Is it just becasue she is old or she doesn't like it? thank you-answers would be appreciated
:)

It's not because she doesn't like it or because she's old. I'm not sure exactly why it would be but it's probably some sort of reaction to the cold.

When I was a kid, our dogs were outside all year. They never threw up really cold water. Nowadays, they sell heated water bowls which are a good idea for any animals kept outside in the winter. My chickens have one. Animals can become dehydrated in the winter if they don't have access to unfrozen water.
