Title: What Can Live With Apple Snails?

:rolleyes: im getting my first 4 apple snails next week,ive set up a 2ft tank especially for them,ive set it up as if it was a normal tropical tank,i dont want fish with them as i cant treat my fish if the snails are in there due to the malachite green in the white spot control will kill the snails.
my tank is a ph 6.5 is this okay for them? temp 24-25 c
what can i put in with them?

mussels,clams,fry,shrimp,guppies is the answer.

You're asking what non-fish animals that you can put with apple snails? You then answered with some fish so I'm confused. You can keep shrimp with the snails. I had ghost shrimp with my apple snail. I wouldn't put in freshwater clams/mussels because they're hard to keep alive and need lots of microscopic plants and animals in the water on which to feed.

ive heard about having ghost glass shrimp in with these snails,i think i will do a bit of research before choosing them tho.
i said about fry and guppys because like me when i started,i didnt know what could go with snails.

Apple snails may eat fry and smaller snails, may attack mussels/clams but will be Ok with most community fish and shrimp.
