:D ive got a tropical community tank but also have a coldwater fish tank which had goldfish in up to a week ago,ive kept the filter etc going, its been established for months.
can i bring the tank in and put a heater in for my apple snails and guppy fry?
i didnt want to put my apple snails in my tropical tank as im treating it with white spot as malachite green kills snails.

As long as the tank's previous inhabitants were healthy, the snails and guppies can probably go in there. Apple snails can take temperatures down to about 50 degrees F (preferring 70-80 degrees F thoughy) so they don't need a heater but baby guppies should be at least 70 degrees F. So, you might set the heater to 75 degrees F.
