Description: Type of bird

I have a very large avairy with 4 budgies, 2 cockatiels, 2 cockatoos, 5 zebra finches and 2 canaries. I also have a pair of lovebirds. I feed veg and fruit, nuts and flowers. Would you reccomend other foods? Examples could be wild plants, fresh fish, bacon, mealworms, worms and beetles.

I would forgo the bacon! I'm sure they'd love some mealworm treats. They sell a billion kinds of foods for caged birds. I've never had any but have seen the catalogs. If I ever got a caged bird, I wouldn't know which of the 3 million foods to pick!

yea, i'd stick away from bacon, bacon is what, about 75% fat.

when you say large aviary, do you keep all those birds together?

I added mealworms. They ignore the mealworms. I fed the mealworms to my ferret anyway. Are there any more birds I may add? They are in the same aivary but in different cages.

As i said before, they ignore mealworms and all the other bugs!
