 I'm going to et a newt but i don't know if i should keep it outside or not. I'm afraid that if i put it outside it might die of cold.

pet newts should be kept indoors in the appropriate setup.

What if i put it in a shed at night which is quite warm

moving it around a lot will be stressful. and it needs a constant environment, going from a warm shed, to a cool outdoors, back into a warm shed will also be very stressful.

Why do you want to put the newt outside? I bought a couple of Eastern newts for my pond many years ago. After I released them, I never saw them again. It's dangerous outside!
