Robyn said he didn't know much about pond snails. i have written an article for him.

Pond snails are common and they eat plants and algae but they also eat debris. The commonest types are great and lesser pond snails. They should normally be kept with other types of snails because many other snails eat their eggs. The fish I have found which don't eat these snails include: otocinlus, zebra danios, golden minnows, bristlenose pleco, siamese alge eater, guppies and mollies. I have also kept some rift lake cichlids with pond snails. Pond snails will not eat java fern.

I am? Yes, I knew that but figured I'd let it be. People sometimes respect men more anyway. I don't recall saying I knew nothing about snails.
