here is the snapper. he is now 7" carapace length. he knocks over the basking area for the other 2, but they are going to my work to be sold soon. no progress yet on the pond.

His/her shell looks pretty smooth for a snapper. Why are you selling the other two turtles? I thought your plan was for the three of them to go into your future pond? I could never sell my animals; they're more like my kids.

id really like to keep him inside if at all possible. im not too crazy about the other 2 anymore. and at the shop i could make sure they went to a decent home. his shell is pretty smooth, but i have seen other common snappers just as smooth as him. he is pretty laid back i was hand picking shedding skin off his head yesterday.

He is beautiful (and scary) :D

he likes his back being scratched. if i rub my fingernails back and forth along his shell his pushes up into it.
