Description: Care

Can anybody tell me what pot bellied pigs eat and other information about them? I am thinking of getting one.

Well, they don't eat guinea pigs so shouldn't be in this section.
I've never had a pig.
Like other pigs, pot bellied pigs will eat most anything you put before them. But, they should be fed a varied, mostly vegetarian diet with fruits, vegetables, grains, hay, and so forth. They sell pig feed at the farm stores but I don't know how good that is for them since it's meant to put on a lot of weight fast. If you offer a pig wholesome foods, they should do well. They will become overweight if fed too many high calorie foods.

Ok, i got one now and i feed it veg/fruit once a day and worms every week. Pot bellied pigs are pigs so i put them in this section.

Pigs will eat most anything. Worms should be okay but they shouldn't get too much animal-based food. Pot bellied pigs certainly are pigs but guinea pigs are not!

Thats so cool that you got a pig! Is it possible to train them to go to the bathroom outside?

I really don't know. I now give him a full vegetarian diet apart from a few mealworms now and then (after all their ancestors - Wild Boar were omnivorous!)
